| I was extremely disappointed with the playa real beach resort. The food was absolutely terrible. I went knowing that the included drink selection was not name brand, but I expected them to have a blender to make pina coladas and daquiris. The employees were not helpful at all and rude in some instances. They have 3 restaurants on the premises that require reservations, but they only take 20 reservations per night! The restaurants were empty and yet they refused to serve more guests. The buffet or the snack bar were the only other options, and both were less than appetizing. The room had water stains on the walls and there was a live roach in my bathroom one night. The shower was less than satisfactory; the water was lukewarm at most. I expected a lot more from this hotel based on the 3 star quality rating the expedia gives it.

| It was close to impossible to get towels. When we checked in first of all they gave us the wrong room, but that was ok; there were no towels. We called and three hours later still had not towles....this happen all of the days there. The food staff was fantastic. Service was great and food great. Location was nice, however they could offer more. Maybe trips outside the resort or more motorized wated sports.
