Pros: Pleasant staff. Quiet location, safe area. Clean. Easy access to freeway. Microwave & full-size fridge in room. Cons: If you want clean sheets or towels mid-week, you'll have to change them yourself. Bed - mattress sagged in middle, not comfortable.

This is a nice extended stay hotel. I would go back if a few things were changed. They come and restock towels and trash bags at mid week and then change sheets the day before you leave. That was the only problem. They should restock and change sheets mid week because we did not enjoy sleeping on old sheets. Besides that, it is a good hotel.

This is an extended stay type of hotel with a full kitchen. It looks new. It is also a block or two off of the highway and was very quiet.

Needed to wait every time went to front desk. Once called front desk to notify of a backed up toilet and was told there is a plunger at the front desk I could pick up. When I went down to get it, had to wait 15-20 minutes and left. Went to check out next morning and had to wait as there was only one person at desk and making a multiple room/person reservation while people waiting to check out waited.

If Crestwood had a hot tub or jacuzzi room it would be perfect.

The location was excellent. It was just off I-25 near restaurants and major attractions (Garden of the Gods and 7 Falls). The room was basic, but extremely clean. Our room was non-smoking with a queen bed and a full kitchen. The kitchen was very nice and saved us the time/money of going out for breakfast. I slept fine, but my husband had a little trouble. The mattress was acceptable, but was not a high-end "pillow top". We were on a limited budget for this trip and the room met our needs for the one night we stayed, but if I were planning an extended vacation, I might opt for a location with a more comfortable mattress.

The Hearthside staff won't clean your room every day - in fact, they won't clean it at all (they'll loan you a vacuum cleaner), but they do supply ample towels, toilet paper, soap, etc - other than that, they just leave you alone (front desk staff is friendly). The hotel is quiet even though it is located right off the freeway. Rooms have a microwave, cooktop, all cooking utensils. You can borrow an iron and ironing board. Not a great place if you want to spend the day watching tv - they don't have basic cable, but they do have four channels of HBO. If you need High-speed Internet, you have to call the hotel on your day of arrival and ask them to specifically put you in one of the HS Internet rooms on the third floor. Great value if you want to be near the freeway in Northern Springs. Shopping is about two miles away, where Woodmen Road meets Academy.

The rooms was very clean, with a great view and a lovely little kichenette that we weren't even expecting. There's enough equipment and appliances to easily cook small meals, and a full-sized fridge, too.

The hotel is older than advertised and much like low-income housing for long-term tenants. We did not stay and forfeited our payment.
