An excellent hotel, well situated for Central Park and restaurants. Junior Suite was very well designed, plenty of storage space. Gym facilities above average for New York Hotel. Could not find a fault.

It has a new design since we've stayed there, but everything was attractive, clean and functional. We did not find the floor to ceiling curtained area in the lobby attractive, and we did not sample the hamburger restaurant behind it; we noticed a "greasy spoon" smell when we checked in. We didn't notice the smell again, however. We loved our room, which was quite comfortable and quiet; it was a basic room and offered all that we needed. With such a good location, we could go out and return to put our feet up for a rest and then resume more sightseeing or other activities. All staff were helpful and friendly. We'll definitely stay there again.

Nice rooms - you definitely will want to "upgrade" to a room with a Park view. Norma's has wonderful breakfast - didn't eat at the Burger Bar, but could smell the burgers everytime we walked through the lobby - they smelled wonderful. Nice amenities, would have liked robes in the room, though. Overall very much a value for the room rate. We would stay here again.

My wife and I visited NYC mid june 2006 for a short vacation and to attend a concert at the Carnegie Hall. Le Parker Meridien Hotel is just a few steps from CH and from many other attractions like Empire State Building, St. Patrick Cathedral, Grand Central Station, Rockefeller Plaza. The Hotel has an elegant lobby and breakfast restaurant (Norma's), beautiful rooms, although small and a busy, european atmosphere. I noticed somewhat rude service from an attendant at rooftop pool- excellent views of Central Park I might add. Also, a guest of the hotel who was pushing her wheelchair bound mother to her room was not assisted in any way by the employees of the hotel. I know because they were staying in our same floor! Finally, the bathtub needed some minor repairs. Overall, a wonderful experience, beautiful and nicely located hotel. Oh, try the coal-oven pizzeria across the street from the hotel!!!

The Le Parker Meridan is perfectly located in the heart of New York City. I stayed in a junior suite and shared the room with 2 friends. The area was spacious enough for us all to move about without over crowding. The hotel has a pool and full sports club with racquet ball. Its entrance is beautifully adorned with massive white marble pillars and huge mirrored walls. The room itself was very quiet for sleeping and the few concerns we had were addressed very rapidly. Enjoy your stay!

The service was excellent, the room was very large, we had 3 adults, a king size bed & a pull out queen size sleeper sofa in the next room. The TV however had to be shared turned either toward the livind area or the bedroom. I would have liked a coffee maker, microwave and mini fride and a sink other than one in the bathroom to make it perfect.

Very stark lobby; hallways on room floors very dark. A very strange facade has been added several years ago that makes the entrance look like an amusement park fun house. Very tall drink glasses in the rooms, bath room glass the size of a shot glass. High tech mini bar that charges you if you open the door. Very annoying. Have stayed there in the past, will not do it again. Michaelangelo much more comfortable.

Loved everything about the hotel; that is, location, comfort, cleanliness, and service with the exception the second (of two)nights we stayed, we had partiers next door. Had to make three calls to the Front Desk between 11:30 pm and 5:30 am. Security did come up each time to "quiet" our neighbors. The hotel is quite large and did not seem terribly busy (full); therefore, it would have been nice if they could have moved our noisy neighbors or not put them right next door to us to begin with. The hotel did credit our movie and one mini bar purchase and allowed us an extra couple of hours stay on our check out day.

The biggest downside of this hotel is the noise from one room to the next. On this visit I had a suite again. In the bedroom I could hear the conversation and other things from the bedroom next to my bedroom. In their non suite rooms, all bathroom business can be heard in the bathroom as well as the sleeping area of the room. This in an improvement not made in renovations.
