Good place for kids (pool, free breakfeast and free sodas (and beer for the parents) from 5 to 7 at pool bar. We had all our breakfeasts in our room since the kitchenette was very convenient for this (except no toaster - well that's why they have Wal-Marts!). Thinks to look out for; 1. you will be charged $2.50 per night for your in-room safe (not included in packages). 2. look out for your room not being ready at 4:00 pm check-in. If it isn't demand late check-out if you will need it. 3. related to #2 above if you want your room done in a timely manner then you should be a bit proactive about it.

The hotel is in old towne where the hotels are the older ones near Disney. They are all suites, so all the halls are out doors and the outside smelled like garbage everyday. the carpet was old and had stains everywhere. The bathroom was so dirty i had to go buy cleaning supplies to clean it and the kitchen wasn't much better. The sheets on the bed weren't made for that size bed so the bottom foot by your feet was just bare matress. It was probably i nice hotel in it's day but not kept up very well anymore.

Ah, where to begin. We arrived on 6/17/06 for a two night stay at the Quality Inn Suites of Orlando, and were informed that this was a 3 star resort. Frankly, I wouldn't put this any higher than a 1.5 at best. The rooms -while spacious - consisted of tired, beaten furniture and threadbare carpet The headboards were leaning, the beds uncomfortable, and water leaked - change that, poured - from the bathroom ceilings. The management allowed guests to drink from glass bottles at the pool, which of course led to broken glass. I reported the broken glass to the front desk, but no action was taken to clean or mark off the area - in fact, the guests ended up cleaning it up. Sure, you get a free continental breakfast, but don't let that cloud your judgment. I don't know how long ago the other reviews were posted which we relied on to book our stay...that's the reason I made sure to mention our check-in date so you would be aware of the current state of this resort. While this may sound like a a nice place on paper, we found it to be a huge disappointment.

We were pleased with the spacious room. We got the room that has only one separate bedroom. It had a small stove, small refrigerator, and microwave. I have stayed on very, very expensive hotels before and they don't even have a stove. The stove is good if you plan to cook to save money. The more family you bring the more money you spend on those famous buffet in Orlando, FL. This is not your house to compare the way you or your maid clean, but it was very clean and no funny odors. I didn't use the pool therefore I cannot give you an opinion of it. I saw a lot of people with their children. It is a family oriented hotel. The fee that we paid for the room included the continental breakfast. I am not crazy about eating so many sweets in the morning. They just had boiled eggs. If you don't mind eating breads, pancakes, and muffins then this is a good free breakfast. If you like omelettes, bacon, cheeses, sausages, etc. you will be disappointed. Across the street they have breakfast buffet for not more than $4.00 (I forgot the exact price). There is a 24hour Walgreens across the street too for any emergencies. It is a great location to stay with the family if you're planning to go to Disney Parks (not Universal Studios unless you don't mind the driving).

Good: The 2-bedroom suite is great for large families (or 2 families traveling together). Each suite has plenty of room and the kitchen is great for eating in. They offer a shuttle to the parks but it's only 5 minutes from the hotel so we just drove. There are plenty of restaurants on the street so there's many options for eating out. The breakfast buffet had great variety (and even had eggs and sausage one morning!) The 5-7 Happy Hour is a nice idea and was well-needed after a day at the parks. Bad: The bathrooms were not very clean (no bathmats for the inside of a dirty, gritty tub) and we found a wasp flying around in one of the bathrooms. The staff was quick to respond, however, when I called about this. The pool area was noisy all evening until 10 (when the pool closed) so early sleepers may have trouble. Since there was a lot of kids staying there, the halls were noisy with pounding feet and yelling. The couch was uncomfortable and the hideaway bed nearly unusable (cot-depth mattress). I wouldn't recommend it for a romantic, private getaway but for a cheap, roomy alternative to Disney properties it's not bad.

I stayed here for 3 days and my wife and I enjoyed staying here. About 15 minutes to Disney about 20 minutes ro Universal. Walking distance to Grocery shops , and all major resturants Red lobster, Benigans , buffet etc. The one thing that bothered me a little was the front desk was not able to help me out with the places I want to see. So I suggest yuo do little homework about the places. Rest everything was fine with the hotel.

Room was clean, beds comfortable. Walls are rather thin. On weekend nights, we could hear TVs blaring, doors slamming until way past midnight. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful, but be sure to ask exactly where to catch the attraction shuttle. We made the mistake of assuming it was at the front entrance where the sign is posted. Instead, it picks up on the side of the building. Breakfast was varied and ample. Beware the scrambled eggs...they are not real!

IF you are looking for a luxury resort experience, this is not it. If you are looking for a good hotel with separate rooms for kids or other family members, this is a wonderful option. The pool is noisy until late. I don't know why parents allow kids to swim and scream until 11 or 12:00 at night. Everything quiets down by 1:00 a.m. We put the kids in the back room, so they slept through it all. Overall, we still had a good night of sleep. Staff is helpful in planning theme part entry and ticket purchases. I would stay here again.

I just spent 4-5 days in Orlando. Hotel was more of a Motel feel, but very impressed with amenities, pool was great, and staff was outstanding. Evening offerings of free beer, wine and sodas for all guests nice touch. I even left my digital camera and was able to retrive it the next day! Breakfast definitley needs an overhaul...carbs galore; cooked to order would be a plus. Very close to everything, definitely will stay here again.

Expedia rates this hotel three stars. I would rate it only two. The pool is nice, but too loud at night. The continental breakfast isn't worth the hassle (and I do mean a hassle). It's better to go get breakfast elsewhere, so there is no savings there. Overall, since we only spent about two waking hours there a day it was tolerable. I'm sure I'll pay a little extra and stay somewhere else the next time!

The rooms were a bit dark, they were a bit rundown, the carpet was dirty and the room service was scattered. The pool however was great and clean, the breakfasts were adequate. We intially had difficulty with our room keys but the matter was addressed and taken care of immediately. Overall, it is a convenient, safe hotel very near the theme parks (a plus) with decent shuttle service and a safe place for families. Thank you.

The hotel was exactly as shown on Expedia, the rooms were fine and comfortable. Breakfast & Happy Hour were sort of plain but again they did a fine job. Our only complaint deals with the quaility of TV receipetion. The TV varied from fine to extremely fuzzy, while the staff was responsive each night to try to do some thing to fix the problems, the fix would nor last much more than a hour. Then back to fuzz. I talking with other guests this was a hotel wide problem, however we still greatly enjoyed our stay, and would recommend it and go back ourselves.

Decent room, good breakfast, close to area restaurants (mainly fast food) and attractions (Kissimmee's Old Town), and Disney. Clean, one bedroom suite that worked well for us with two small children. But more of a party hotel better suited for childless couples or families with middle teen and up children. This became readily apparent at check-in when I was informed that unfortunately I was too late for happy hour, but the bar was still open. Benefit of the doubt--my children, 4 and 6 years old, were still in the car.

This hotel was rated as a "3 star" but should have been, at most, a "2 star". The hotel comes across as the high-volume, low-price property near a major resort that it is. During our stay there were several school groups (marching bands, etc.) staying there (noisy at night). The kitchenette was not clean; in fact, the dishes were downright dirty and needed to be washed (we just didn't use them). The linens, especially the blankets, were old and unattractive. The pool area was nice.
