| Recently stayed at this hotel for a family visit to Cedar Point. I chose this hotel because it was rated at 2 1/2 stars vs. other nearby hotels that were rated at 2 *'s. This hotel was one of the worst hotel visits I have ever had. When we checked into our hotel, the room had a moldy smell. The blankets were old and threadbare. Since we had pre-paid the room on Expedia, we were stuck for the night. Breakfast the next morning was awful. While many budget hotels are now serving some sort of basic continental breakfast, this one was served in a dingy conference room. The floor was littered with half eaten meals. All they had was two types of dry cereal and small, tasteless bagel. By 8:45, they were out of food and not letting any more people in (actually doing them a favor to save them from this mess.) We went to Cedar Point park and had a great day. When we returned to the hotel, there were people in the parking lot setting off fireworks (there is a fireworks store next door.) There were shell casings landing on my car. When I moved my car to a spot closer to the pool, my wife stepped out of the car into a pool of vomit. When we got back to our room, the maid had not left us any bath towels. When I complained to the desk clerk, they said they would let the manager know of my concerns but they couldn't do anything about it. Please take my advice, stay far-far away from this hotel.

| The room itself did not give you the feeling that it was clean. The carpet felt gross, and the bathroom floor was a bit sticky. Also, there is a daily check of linens and items, and in case items came up missing a charge would be added to your bill. We got back to our room and every towel that had been used (hung up or not) had been removed and NOT replaced. We had to call to the from desk and then wait 45 minutes for replacement towels so that we could bathe. The staff also did not address loud neighbors at all- even at midnight!
