The staff and the accommodations were more than we expected, even the mattress was just like home and very comfortable. No back problems were experienced the next day from a poor mattress. We enjoyed the view, the outdoors surrounding the hotel, ocean waters and the shop within the hotel lobby which was open till 11pm Sat night. We would definately stay here again.

Great hotel to stay!Room was nice and clean- beautiful ocean view and nice pools. The staff was courteous. Didn't love the food, a little pricey and did not taste that great, but just in walking distance you can find other great restaurants. It's aproximatley about 10 mins from Old San Juan by car.I really enjoy the stay with my boyfriend at this hotel.Definitely will recommend it!

Beautiful hotel. They have everything you need at the hotel but expensive. There's a small grocery store next to the hotel which is cheaper. Room service is too expensive, $3 dollars per person for delivery and a 20% charge besides the price of the dish. I payed for the first & last time $30 for a pepperoni pizza but it was 1:00am. Go for breakfast down the block to mexican-puertorican restaurant or a subway next door, they serve breakfast (the owner is SUPER nice). Otherwise, I had a great time!! Must do the tours!

Very nice hotel. Clean and well kept. Only problems were the service was not very good. Hotel attendants seemed like we were imposing on them when we asked questions or for help with something. Also had a night that there was allot of banging in the next room and when we asked about what was going on the house keeping manager seemed like she was hiding something...

Hotel was a nightmare. We checked into a room that was old with mold and condition. On our second day after a full day of island activities we returned to the room to find a disasterous smell that was physically ailing. It took three hours with many phone hangups form the front desk to get the houskeeping supervisor to my room. As soon as she walked in she called the front desk and declared an emergency to have our room switched. The attitudes fo the customer service team were horrific and I attempted to voice my displeasure to the warm response of I don't care. I have been traveling to the island for 21 years. I have a business offic eon the island. Some of my employees whoe regularly travel to the isldand stay at the condado, not anymore. I am surprised expedia supports this hotel. Never again

Apparently the hotel is undergoing renovations and some of the floors have been renovated but definitely not ours! The room was filthy!!! Rug and furniture were stained badly and the room smelled terrible! Also had wet rug outside the bathroom door. This hotel room was in dire need of renovations...certainly not up to par with the 3 1/2 star rating that Expedia gives it. I would never stay at this hotel again. Had we not checked in so late (1a.m.) we would have found another hotel, but we were traveling with very tired children. WE also had breakfast in the hotel restaurant which also had dirty silverware and stained placemats. I would reccomend looking for another hotel in the area.

I wasn't sure what to expect having read the reviews and seeing the pictures of the Condado Plaza Hotel, prior to my vacation. The reviews didn't describe the pictures I was seeing. Needless to say, I was quite satisfied when I arrived and realized the only difference was that everything was alot smaller than expected. The buidling did not appear to need repair to the extent that I was expecting. The pools, workout room, casino and beach, though small, were adequate, clean and staffed by friendly employees, willing to assist. The location was excellent for good restaurants and proximity to Old San Juan. The "strip" on which the hotel is located has charisma and a heartbeat and stays alive for a quick late night snack. Dinner at restaurants in the area are relatively priced the same but, breakfast and lunch prices on the Hotel menu are outrageous. You'll pay double at the hotel for those meals. There are plenty of places within walking distance that have breakfast and lunch at half-the-price. Or take the bus to Old San Juan for breakfast and then stay for lunch and enjoy the many restaurants, one of which, will be sure to please everyone. All-in-all, the stay was alot of fun, the people kind and the Island, beautiful. I would definitely go back but do hope that they do some updating in the Hotel rooms.

The hotel was very kid friendly with a great slide in the pool and a swim up bar for the kids and adults. The service was terrible. It seemed as if we were doing them a favor staying there and the employees were not at all interested in the guests. The bell hops did not help, the pool bartender was nasty, and the front desk was not very helpful either. The only people that were very nice were the towel/pool girls and boys.

The hotel has a casino, if it matters. The hotel has two parts on either side of the road, with pools on the ocean or on the lagoon and parking underneath ($15 per night). We had the lagoon view, which was great. The hotel is pretty good, but it was quite expensive when we were there. The beach is public and not as good as the one along the Isla Verde strip, but here you can walk along Ashford for restaurants and stores. We had a little problem with plumbing, but it was fixed quickly after I called Housekeeping. Easy access to Oldtown San Juan.

This was my first time in San Juan the hotel was clean and nice the staff was just as nice. The casino is small, I had to wait to play Roulettesince thetable was crowded only 2-3 table but it was worth it since I won $900 with just a $20.00 dollar out of pocket. The breakfast at the hotel it is nice and tasteful but for $42 for 2 on a buffet is to much. go 100 feet down the block to this small spanish cafe breakfast special are $5.00 and a nice view as well. For dinner tony roman was not bad. I like old san juan there was a lot of shops to see and you will walk and feel great just remember to leave before the sun go down since it start to get a grimme you may not come back with everything you have purchase. As for party most hotel have a nice flow. it's best to call ahead to see what going on for the night both are 10 min away cabs are everywhere $10.00 was the most I paid. A must get the ocean view my friend and I love it

The hotel is clean, the service is wonderful, the room was spacious with a balcony overlooking the ocean. The casino has slot machines for every budget (starting at 1 penny). The hotel has three restaurants to choose from as well as(within walking distance)several local restaurants, a Dunkin Donuts and a Walgreens for any forgotten items. We did, however, read in the local newspaper while there that the hotel has been sold and will be upgraded to a 5 star hotel within the next year or two.

We only stayed at the Condado Plaza for a weekend, but we truly enjoyed every minute! The room was clean and comfortable, with a view of the lagoon, and the pools and the beach were wonderful. We listened to a really great band near the casino, and dined at Tony Roma's. The only drawback is the poolside grill, which is ridiculously expensive for food that is not that great.

After reading the reviews I was expecting the worst. When I got there it was completely opposite from what some of the reviews said. The staff was very helpful whenever we needed anything, or if we just needed directions to somewhere . The rooms wasn't the best but it was clean, did not smell and pretty much what you would expect from a wyndham hotel. The beach they have is a poor excuse for a beach but for 25 cents you can take the bus to Ocean park beach which is 5 minutes away. I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone who is on a quick getaway. Overall anything was A okay. Only problem I had was seeing fat, inconsiderate americans walking around in the hotel but a quick trip to old san juan and you'll get to see beautiful puerto ricans. Btw on my last night there I went to the casino and won $50 on the slot machine with only playing $1, pretty lucky.

This used to be a great hotel that I have stayed at a dozen times over the last ten years. Unfortunately it is going down hill and a renovation is long overdue. The reception area still looks good but the staff is unfriendly, frustrated and unhelpful. It took 45 minutes to check in and another 45 minutes for our luggage to be sent up to the room. The only view from our lagoon view room was a dirty concrete wall. The room was unbelievably dirty, smelly and in bad need of a facelift. We will not stay there again.
