| Everything was with in walking distance. Easy bus service got me to the places I wanted when I got tired of walking. Highly recommended for the no frills vacation. Great crash pad.

| The room given was much different from the photo shown at Expedia.com. The Expedia photo showed beautiful room with polo mallets over the bed. But our room was not anything like that. The air conditioner did not quite work right. The bathroom was way too small, and the wash basin was outside of bathroom. The shower was too small for a 250 lb Dallas Cowboy linebacker. The towels were not quite clean. The hotel was rated 2 and half stars, but I would give it only a half star.

| I have stayed in many dives in my backpacking experience, but usually there is some charm to a place that makes iandt all worthwhile. Not so at Polo Inn. The parking system is complicated and incovenient, the rooms are noisy , and mildewy and damp, the front desk staff misrouted my calls at every opportunity and would not even offer to cover the calls i had to make to undo the inconvenience that they had caused me! A terrible place to stay. Many other budget hotels in the area would have been a better choice, from what I have seen.

| A relatively inexpensive hotel, OK for a short stay, but I would not recommnend for families. Extremely low budget. The room was very dark with inadequate lighting, one of the fixtures had a broken fixture, with only a bare bulb. Numerous carpet stains. There was a trash can outside of my hotel room to catch the dripping of the window air conditioner. On the plus side, the hotel staff seemed very kind and nice.

| The location was great(5 minute walk to the beach). The elevator was scary. It's Hawaii...so I can't really complain.

| This hotel is old and tired. The rooms look hard used, but , for me it was in an ideal location. I was close to the shopping centers, and bus stops were nearby. There is also an ABC store on the corner so you can purchase almost anything. This hotel is NOT easily accessable. You have to climb two flights of steep stairs to reach the registration office. The area immediately around the hotel is dark and shabby. According to locals the hotel is not located in a safe area.

| The place was in downtown honolulu right next to waikiki beach and ala moana shopping center. It was nice being so close to the beach. They had a nice swimming pool and hot tub. There were nails sticking out of the carpet. We were short a bowl in the kitchen and they did not have one in the whole hotel area that they could give us. We could hear cop cars go by at random times of the day. Overall, the place was okay. I might stay there if I went back. However, if I could find a place nearby and have to spend a little more, I would probably do that.

| The location is not so bad. You can go to Alamoana shopping center on foot. They accepted early check-in no extra charge. It was good. but TV didn't work and they didn't change rooms. The room is clean. The shower room is so small.

| Stayed here one night as a layover enroute to Maui - unbelieveable that you have to haul your luggage up 15 steps to the lobby (very small) - one elevator - room was very run down - bathroom was terrible - tiles missing from shower and extremely poor maintenance for entire room.

| The only positive aspect of this property is its price. The rooms are fairly run-down, dated and the quality of the housekeeping is sporadic to say the least.

| Good location for walking in this area of Honolulu. Very old hotel, very basic. Toilet/shower with only a swinging door for privacy. Sink and mirror in the area with the bed. If you want a good rate, stay here. If you want a nice hotel, do not. Limited parking for $10/night.

| We were extremely disappointed in the hotel conditions at Hawaii Polo Inn and Tower. The service was satisfactory but the overall room conditions were very poor. We ordered a queen sized bed and got a full bed instead. The hotel looked runned down and not very well maintained. Even though the price was reasonable, the room conditions were not to our satisfaction.
