| We stayed at this hotel from 07/09-07/16. we had a non-smoking room on 20th floor and had a great view of the ocean. Elevators worked fine for us.Room was clean and air conditioner worked great. Very close to all the action at the beach,International marketplace,Ala Moana mall.Easy to get to Hanamau Bay. Only two downfalls to this hotel:parking space,if you're not there by 9:00 pm, good luck getting a spot, and the hallways were stuffy and smelled a bit musky. We had a great time and well worth the price...Oh,the pool is cold, cold, but you're so close to the beach, do your swimming there. The jacuzzi was nice. Would definitely stay again, and planning our next trip.

| My family & I (husband, daughter & her boyfriend)visited Hawaii for our son's/brother's wedding and stayed at the OHANA Maile Sky Court Hotel for a week in July 2006. I picked this hotel because of the price and the other reviews helped me decide to stay here. The AC in our rooms was great, the maid service No. 1, all the staff was very pleasant as well as helpful, and we enjoyed the pool as well as the hair salon(my daughter and I, of course). There's TGI Fridays right downstairs and we enjoyed meals nearby at an open air cafe a few steps away, as well as other unique eateries within walking distance. We also visited the nearby Ala Moana Shopping Center which offers a food court out of this world(took the bus there)!! There are many sights and establishments nearby if you enjoy walking and if not the cabs are plentiful and the buses are cheap. Yes, the rooms are somewhat small and the elevator a little slow. However, in no way did this cause us any discomfort. We all agree we would stay here in the future! Aloha!!

| We had a fine stay here. Clean room. Large enough for 2 adults, a one year old, 2 large suitcases and a surfboard. You can get coffee at any nearby ABC store for under a dollar, no need to worry about the hotel's $2 coffee. Our room was on the the 20th floor and our 3 elevators worked fine. Elevators serving the upper floors had a lot of trouble while we were there. One was out of order and a second got stuck with people in it causing very long lines of people waiting to go up to their rooms. For us, being located at the western end of Waikiki, the relative proximity to the airport was helpful. Hotel parking is still $15 for a 24 hour period and the spaces are indeed narrow, not for the timid driver. We had an SUV and were ok though. As a budget hotel, it was fine. We would definitely stay here again.

| It's Hawaii. Land is very scarce and the room was smaller than most travelers are use too. But your there for the islands and not the room. Well taken care of rooms. Asked for extra pillow and received it right away. Arrived early and they stored are bags until we could check in. Downstairs was TGIF and they had two tracel areas to help with tours. Also had small snack shop for those late nite hunger pangs. Would stay there again.

| We had read several reviews of this hotel before we booked it, and a recurring theme was that the bed were firm. Do not be mistaken, firm is an understatement. Other than that, the Sky Court was the perfect hotel for us as all we needed the room for was to sleep. We were there to see the islands, not stay cooped up in a room. It was clean, the staff was very helpful and friendly and the location was perfect. Waikiki beach was just a short walk away through a beautiful garden park, all the major bus stops were within the block, and several great shopping centers were just a few blocks away. Overall, the perfect place to stay in paradise.

| The Sky Court worked great for the price. Not a luxurious hotel, but it is located perfectly between downtown and Waikiki. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. Couldn't say the same from the cleaning staff. We had left an item in the room and a few hours after we had checked out, we called back to see if we could come back to get it. They said nothing had turned up, but someone could check again. Conveniently nothing turned up...they did seem to find the tip we left though!

| This is not the first time we have stayed at the Maile sky court and neither will it be the last. This hotel is ideally located just far enough out of central Waikiki and yet still on all the bus and trolley routes. It is a 10 min walk to the international market place and 5 min to Waikiki beach. The reception staff were very helpful, the room was airconditioned and clean, the bed was comfortable and the towels were replaced every day if we wished and there was even a free newspaper in the morning. Enjoyed both the swimming pool and the hot pool after a full day shopping.

| During our two week Hawaii tour, this place was definitely one of the better deals. Comfortable, clean, friendly and helpfull staff, and located within walking distance of both restaurants, the beach and conference venues. Naturally, do not expect five star comfort, but it is very good value for money deal. The only negative point is that the rooms have very thin walls, so depending on your neighbours noise might be an issue. If we were to go back to Honolulu we would certainly stay here again.

| I was in town for a wedding for just 2 days. I had lots of distractions, so the hotel was really just to sleep and shower and dress in. For that, it was perfect for me. Small room, inexpensive, not fancy, but perfectly workable, and the desk and bell folks were actually just great. you're on Oahu after all...don't hang out in your hotel room. The beach is an easy walk, mostly through a park if you take the right route. On my last day I checked out in the morning and took off for the day. When I got back to the hotel they set me up with a hospitality room to clean up (shower if I wanted, even) and dress, and repack for my travel. The swimming pool was no good to me, tiny, not open early (before 8 am) or late (after 11pm) (the only times I'm ever interested in using a pool) Also the pool is right next to a "pool bar" on the 4th floor that I'm sure makes the hotel some good profit, but smelled of alcohol and cigarettes in the hallway. As a non-drinker non-smoker, this was a turnoff to me. Go swim on the beach. If you're not there for the hotel, then this will work fine, with nothing wrong. If the hotel is a key part of your experience, you should probably spring for something fancier. For my solo trip, the savings was totally worth it, the service was super friendly.

| The OHANA Maile Sky Court hotel is a well maintained property at the far west end of Waikiki. The location is convenient, especially if you have a rental car, since it does not require driving through Waikiki to get there. Parking is expensive ($15 per day) but the parking garage is fairly large and the parking spaces relatively easy to get into and out of. Because the hotel is a high-rise (46 floors) you need to give yourself an extra 5-10 minutes to get to the lobby, depending on how high up your room is located. Rooms above the 18th floor on the south side of the hotel have a nice view of Waikiki and the ocean.

The receptionists were helpful (I didn't require much help though) The location's not bad. If you don't mind a little walk, the beach is about a 15 min walk. TheBus is very accessable. | OHANA Maile is great for an inexpensive trip to Waikiki or Honolulu. This hotel is not on the beach, but close enough to walk to all the Waikiki attractions, restaurants, and shopping. There is a TGI Fridays attached to the hotel and many other great choices close by. If you are planning to travel by "The Bus", there is a bus stop very close by. Parking at the hotel is about fifteen dollars per day. We have stayed at OHANA Maile twice and would return for the value and convenience.

| The room was ok. Very small, nothing special. Our biggest problem was that after paying to park at the hotel we were already paying for, the lot was full two nights in a row. We were told to park at a sister hotel four blocks down the road. The sister hotel's parking lot isn't suitable for anything much bigger than a golf cart, and they don't offer any sort of shuttle back to where you're staying. We're lucky we didn't have to haul luggage that whole way. Also, after having our wallets stolen at a scenic point, one front desk person was very short with us and unhelpful. Right before leaving, another one was nicer and tried. What it comes down to is an attitude of only being helpful if your pockets are deep.

| The location was good, about 10 minutes walk to the beach, and centrally located. Plenty of dining/shopping options within short walking distance, including TGI Fridays on the 1st floor. The room was even smaller than what I was prepared for. The bathroom was smaller yet. My wife & I stayed for a week, and the room was reasonaly cleaned. We never used the hotel pool or bar, but both looked clean. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, even answering questions they had no doubt answered many times before. We stayed on floor 22, and were surprised by the noise during the night. My preference was to leave the window open, but we eneded up closing it each night to lessen the sounds from poilce sirens and garbage trucks working during the night. All things considered, we are happy with our stay and would stay again.

| This is a relatively inexpensive hotel, with the basics all there for you (and a great shampoo...), just on the border of the busy and happening downtown Waikiki. There are no fancy hotel property-amenities (pool, bar, fitness etc') but if you're in town to enjoy the Waikiki beaches and sea and walk around - this is a good base-room for a good price. PS- the basic room is a little small - we ended up upgrading to the Studio, where you can actually save a few bucks if you buy some groceries in the store and cook a few of your meals....

| I stayed "Ohana maile sky court" for one week with my 6years old son. It was cheepest hotel on expedia and but I was not so afraid to stay there . Because I read many reviews about this hotel on many websites , and seemed many people thinks it is good place to stay. And it was pretty true!! Stuff were pretty nice, and room was always clean. There is a TGI friday on first floor, and all the other good restaurants aroud. It is little walking to middle of waikiki, but not so bad. It is fun to walking around. About the room, I stayed cheepest room, and I bet it was smallest room. There were two single beds, and it was REALLY small!! I don't recomand this room for couples. I don't think two people can sleep in this one bed. My 6years old son tried to sleep next to me, but it was too tight. so,for couples , I think it is better get one bigger bed..and room was so small also,so, it must be even hard to put two big suit cases...I got big one suite case, and my son had small one, but it seemed those took lots of spaces....Anyway, Room view was pretty nice. I stayed on 9th floor. I even could see ocean. it was pretty.:) I liked them. I had little hard time with this small beds andsmall room, but sofar,I liked this hotel. I would come back here and get bigger room(and one bigger bed!)!I think this hotel is really good deal. it is cheep, clean, and stuff are nice.
