| Great Service; frirndly staff. Can't beat the location. Mountian shop was great for rentals, demos or forgotten items. The Pub was lively with every beer you could wish for. The one bedroom room layout made the common space a bit tight. i would have preferred the less expensive studio for our family of four. If i go back to Whistler, i would stay here.

| It was a great hotel. Only 50 yards from the lifts for Whistler and Blackcomb. Staff was very helpful with any request. On-site ski shop as well as storage. Very close to great restaurants and shopping. Didn't have a chance to try the spa but heard it was worth the money spent. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

| My wife and I chose this Hotel for the location and the great rate we got through expedia. I can't say enough about the Pan Pacific and their wonderful staff. From the moment we drove up until we left, we were impressed by the genuinely friendly and professional staff. The room was fantastic and much larger than we expected. We rented our skis right there in the hotel and they gave us free lockers to safely store our equipment. The outdoor hot tub was great after a day on the slopes. The Irish Pub also located in the Hotel is a great place to take a break and have a Guiness! The location is perfect. You literally walk out the front door and the Blackcomb Gondola is right there!

| Pan Pacific is still a fantastic hotel in Whistler Village; but, Prices keep rising each year and parking is $20 USD per day. That's without the upcoming Olympics n 2010. They don't have individual room secure ski lockers on site for suites now due to the opening of a second Pan Pacific so everything was put loose in a "security closet" and that wasn't our preference. Ski lifts, reastaurants, and shops are all close which make all of the available accomodations in the village good choices. Honestly, if you stay anywhere in the upper or lower Village or even in Blackcomb Village you share the same fun and other places might be more to your preference.

| This was the first time my wife and I visited Whistler and we couldnt have found a better location. You have fantastic service and easy access to anything you could want. The equipment rentals are in the hotel and just across the hall from the locker room. There is a great pub in the hotel and the service from everyone was fantastic. My wife and I have nothing but great things to say about our visit.

| Very comfortable suites (with fireplace) and attentive service. The hotel is just steps away from both the Blackcomb and Whistler gondolas (my room looked out over both). Ski valet on the ground floor and, if you need to rent equipment, there is a store off the lobby. Good Irish bar for the apres ski.

| Great hotel, great location! Watched the dirt bikers crash down the mountain from poolside! Make sure you reserve a king deluxe room with kitchen (its a full kitchen, not a kitchenette, with all the necessary utensils). Its worth the money

| There are more expensive hotels in Whistler but this one is great. The rooms are very nice, a little smaller than I thought for the 2 bedroom suite but still very nice. The location is the best for winter or summer as you are at the base of both Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains with the gondolas right out your doorstep. The hotel is located at the end of the Village so you miss some of the street traffic in the shopping area but close enough to get anywhere. I loved this hotel!

| Hands down the best hotel I have stayed at in a while. The mountainside ambiance is unmatched, the size and amenities were perfect, and the staff was more than accommodating. If you are planning a trip to Whistler, the Pan Pacific Mountainside should be your only option at any time of the year!

| Everything about this hotel works well. The rooms were great. The location is the most convenient spot in the Village. The ski lockers were very helpful and the boot dryers were a nice touch. Poolwas fabulous, overlooking the the Village center and up the slope.

| We are both 38 and have traveled all over the world staying mostly at Westins ( they were booked for this trip ). The room at the Pan Pacific was a one bedroom suite, it faced the gondolas and close to the pool. It had a full Kitchen, firplace, living room, large bathroom and one heck of a nice king bed in the master suite. Very clean, very Northwest in their syle. We loved our room. Even though it faced the busy portion of Whistler including the pool we heard no sound. The rooms are clean and the staff was attentive.

| We had crummy weather during our visit to Whistler/Blackcomb but staying at the Pan Pacific salvaged the trip! The premium location (literally steps to the gondola), beauty of the facility and wonderful service of the staff were A-1. The plush robes, chocolates on your pillow every night and friendliness of the staff saying "hello" to you everywhere you went were the icing on the cake. Also, having Dub lin Gate (great Irish pub with live music and dancing!) in the lower level of the hotel was a great night cap. You can't lose staying here.

| Can't beat the location and convenience of The Pan Pacific Mountainside. Ski lifts right outside your door. Never drove the car once. Excellent and friendly guest services, very helpful with restuarant recommendations. Rooms (1-bedroom suite) are simple & tastefully decorated, but disappointingly small for the price. Definitely not the place if you're looking for cheap/value accommodations. Avoid valley view rooms facing Blackcomb Base, which are directly above major bus stop/route (very noisy all night long).

| I loved the Pan Pacific. Our room was enormous (1 br suite), with a cozy fireplace, fully stocked kitchen, huge bathroom, comfy bed, and balcony. The location can't be beat, right at the base of Whistler and Blackcomb. There is a ski rental shop right in the hotel. I don't think our experience with the hotel could have been better.
