| First time in Reno, wasn't impressed with the city, very old and run down. El Dorado was very nice had a great reasonably priced buffet with first rate service. The casino was very smokey but over all very clean and the waitresses were attentive. The show (Baglan) was very good, it could hold it's own against the same type in Vegas. I would recommend the hotel for a quick getaway for gaming and eats.

| had a great time, the hotel and staff were great, food and prices were resonable, but found that there was little to do other than gamble if you didn't have a car. They had very little to offer for outside entertainment besides the Ultimate Tour which was the highlight of our trip

| The hotel itself is lovely and appears to be very well maintained. The casino wreaks of smoke, and I imagine it permeates into the rooms, so the whole hotel has a constant dose of air freshener pumped through the air conditioning. Smells like an old man's cologne and you can't get away from it anywhere. I had a constant headache and the clerk at the gift shop seemed to know exactly what I was talking about and selling lots of sinus headache medicine.

| Nice place and the staff made sure everything was just what I had requested. The only thing I could improve would be "housekeeping" could have left more towels. I wasn't that impressed with the food or the service in the coffee shop but, that bakery is wonderful! Didn't win any money and didn't hear of anyone winning.

| My disappointment occurred because they put me in an "economy" room, that was a little larger than a closet, even though my standard room rate was prepaid. The door lock was faulty on this room and they said they couldn't do anything about it. I was alone and did not feel safe. I complained about paying full price for this tiny room. They reluctantly moved me the next day.

| Only recommended if you get a GREAT room rate. The rooms were quite small, with no coffee, no fridge - things we've started to expect in even a 2 or 3-star hotel. The personnel working security, registration, cleaning, bell desk were all great, but our biggest problem was the shuttle service. Don't count on it! They had ONE airport shuttle running, but sometimes 40+ people waiting to board it. When pressed, they'd send us to taxis, but the taxi drivers didn't want to deal with the hotel. Restaurants were good and there are --excellent-- desserts in the coffee shop.

| I have traveled to Reno six times over the last decade. I've stayed at four different hotels over those trips and I have to say that the Eldorado is by far my favorite. They have good food and a nice casino. Their staff are always friendly and helpful and the rooms are comfortable. I usually have a hard time sleeping when not at home but it's never a problem when I stay at the Eldorado. The next time I go to Reno, I'll be staying at the Eldorado!

| Probably no fault of the hotel but we did not get the type of room we thought. Expedia said it would be a room with a King size bed, which it was not. The room was also very small and located near all the power equipment that the hotel operates on such as large AC units, etc. This made it somewhat noisy, although not unbearable. Other than that everything else was fine.

She went out of her way to make sure I was happy, I'm very thankful for that. It made my stay much better. The only thing the room needed is a coffee maker, other than that is was GREAT. I had a very nice time and saw some beatiful country. Alot different from Texas!.

| This hotel was the worst experience! The only positive part of the experience was the buffet service. All other service was horrible! The room lock would not work on our friend's room, and it took the hotel over 2 hours to get 6 guys to pry open the door to their room so they could get their things out. All of the doors on our floor looked like the doors had been pried open, as none of the doors shut tight. It was not a secure feeling at all. After the door experience, when I went got ready to get into be I noticed a fishie cracker on the floor covered in ants! How ants got up to the 9th floor is beyond me. I could not sleep as this really made me sick beyond belief. The housekeeping staff apparently is conserving toilet paper, as they left us with about 10 sheets on a roll of paper, with no additional rolls. My husband and I had to ration the TP. It was a horrible experience, and I have been sharing it with all my friends and telling them never to stay at the El Dorado Dump! We will never stay there ever again!

All the staff that I came in contact with were very nice and helpful. Even though we stayed in a smoking room it did not smell like all the other smoking rooms I have stayed in. Would stay again in a minute.

| Not impressed. We stay in Reno twice every 3 years for bowling tournaments and this was our first time here. Our room was across from a hotel board room where meetings started early most mornings, with employees standing outside our door talking. There was also rennovation going on in the next room and one across the hall, so the hammering, drilling and saws started early. (The hotel should have blocked off this end of the hall until complete!) Convenient shuttle to airport and bowling stadium, though.

| Had a nice stay at the El Dorado. The smoking rooms have definately been well used. I gave it my best shot, but felt congested and asked to be moved. They were very accomodating. Though you could order coffee through their 24 hour room service (super fast service, by the way), as a business traveler, I needed coffee first thing in the morning and the rooms have no pots. I understand that is pretty standard for casinos though.

Meanwhile he was letting everyone else into the garage. Finally we settled for valet parking. Restaurants closed VERY early and were quite pricy.
