Although the photos you see here would make you jump at staying here, be cautious if you want a QUIET place to stay on vacation. We stayed in the 2 bedroom condo with our family. The walls are paper THIN, so you can hear everything in the other rooms. The washer in the kitchen as well as the toilets could wake the neighbors. Also, this is a TIME SHARE community, so be ready to be persuaded to come in for a presentation. Other than these drawbacks, the pool is nice and the service is decent. If you aren't wanting to sleep in every day or you want to be on the strip most of the time, this is a good place to stay.

When I made reservations with this hotel, I called to verify they had early check in, I was told they did. When I checked in, I was told there was no early check in, but they went ahead and gave me a room early. The rest of my family did not fare so well, the were placed at another hotel, since the Westgate had over booked. Since we were there for my daughters wedding, it put a damper on our occasion, but the hotel was spacious, clean and comfortable. My advice is write down names, and check in early, at least get on the list waiting for a room. They seem to over book on big weekends.

My husband and I stayed at the Westgate on the last day of our vacation and were thrilled with it. The place is beautiful, both inside and out. We were able to wash all our clothes in the full size washer and dryer. The staff was excellent, and this is probably one of the nicest places we have stayed at. We will most definately stay here again, and recommend it to all our friends. Just wished we would of stayed more than one night!

We stayed here New Years Weekend and it was a great value compared to the elevated prices on the strip. Also it is close to the action but a relaxing place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the casinos.

The Westgate property is a couple miles west of the strip, but easy access to everything. It is also a timeshare property, and with recent renovation is at "5 star" quality. The two bedroom suite is not exceptionally spacious, but quite luxurious...corion counters, firplace, w/d, etc. A good bargain for a family or two couples.

Found this place looking for an alternative to the low budget business hotels off the Strip. Turned out to be much more than expected: whirlpool, large bathroom, full kitchen, washer/dryer and fitness room on premises, living room (!), pool, and hot tub! Sure beats a dull room with one queen bed and TV! I stayed off season (November through January) and got a super rate. Not wired for high speed internet, but I wanted to relax in the evenings and not work anyway.Did I mention how easy it was to drive to the Strip from their location?Loved it.

Very pleased with all the service. It was a nice quiet place to stay. If it wasn't quiet, just called front desk and they got things under control right away. Very updated and very clean. Loved having the shuttle. It was nice to have the condo instead of a hotel room. It's a little of the strip but that was nice for us with the kids. The kids loved the pool and the space to be outside and play aroung in.

Our only complaint was the neighbor across from us was loud, discusting, dirty, and trashy, even leaving trash bags, plastic wrappers, etc on the entry to our doors. The villas are very nice, warm, and comfy...a home away from home...it's too bad we can't pick our neighbors!

Our one bedroom suite at the Westgate was beautifully appointed, cozy and comfortable. My only complaints about the room are that that the tub leaked water onto the bedroom floor and the phone line didn't work. As for the exterior, the grounds of the property were under construction, including the building adjacent to ours. This meant there were mounds of dirt and equipment all over the place including the parking spaces right in front of our room where we would have been able to park otherwise.

DVD Player didn't work, discovered this after renting a dvd from property. Called the desk, they gave us a remote control. Still didn't help. Ironing Board Broken, Hair Dryer shot out sparks! Shower totally flodded the bathroom with its use, put clothes in the washer, with soap and couldn't get it to run. Totally unsatisfied with this property and would not recommend it to anyone!

Extremely quick and easy access to and from the suite, no need to walk along long corridors nor wait for elevators. All suites are No Smoking, and ours contained a refrigerator, microwave, sink and dishes, with dining and living room areas. We did some light entertaining, and appreciated the convenience of a kitchen 24 hours a day. The biggest problem was the upstairs suite was occupied by a couple who seemed to be living there. They were awake and noisily walking around all hours of the day and night, perhaps they each worked a different shift. The walls were not very soundproof. If staying for more than one day there is no additional charge but you need to request fresh towels and trash removal. Staff seemed very pleasant, especially those at the gated entrance, but the towel request was made twice and took a couple hours before delivery. There were other amenities we did not utilize. There is grass and trees and places to walk if so desired. I loved the convenience and comfort of the suite; my husband had problems with the noise factor.

If you like to get away from the hustle and bustle of the strip, the Westgate Flamingo Bay is the way to go. Very nice one and two bedroom condos in quiet surroundings with swimming pool and attractive landscaped paths. Gated for security. Close to the strip and good shopping.
