| This hotel is a must for anyone visiting SC and charlestown area. Service was impeccable yet very descrete. Maybe they may think about being able to supply a hot American Style Breakfast because the available cafe's in the immediate area are very poor for a good breakfast,

| Hotel is beautiful and clean. It was the frontdesk staff and the bellmen that were often forgetful and cold. Bell staff needs to be reminded more than once to bring around your car, and frontdesk folks process you like an assembly line.

| My husband & I spent two nights here in December before Christmas. The hotel & room were beautiful and the location can't be beat. Their Wine and Cheese hour was very nice and when I declined wine the second night - the staff offered champagne instead. Their "breakfast" consisted of juices, coffee, tea, danishes and yogurt. I was expecting a little more to be honest. The rooms are not cheap thus the reason to expect a little more. Overall I would stay again and the staff IS wonderful.

| We can't say enough about this hotel. Everything was what everyone else had said in their reviews and more. It is beautiful, convenient to everything, the continental breakfasts fabulous, the pillows "TO DIE FOR"; my husband now has to have a body pillow at home like the one he had at French Quarter Inn. The staff was a shear pleasure to deal with, and we were there on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a great place to stay in Charleston.

| The staff at this hotel was wonderful. They were very helpful with directions, information, cabs, etc. Its also a great location - with so many things within walking distance. We found the inside public areas of this hotel to be beautiful, but the entry way needed some cleaning up. We had requested a king size room some time ago and found that one was not available when we arrived. The queen room we had was nice size and the bathroom was clean and spacious, but for the amount of money we spent, I thought the room would be more elegant and the carpet would be cleaner.

| I stayed only one night for a work trip and wished I could have stayed longer. Upon check-in, I was greeted with a glass of champagne and cookies. The staff were extremely friendly and always called me by name, even after check-in when I would see them while walking through the hotel. The rooms are gorgeous, the bed very comfortable. I imagine it would be a very romantic place for a couple, but it was also very appropriate for business travelers.

| The French Quarter is a lovely, convenient hotel for those visiting the historical area of Charleton. They have gone out of their way to make their guests feel welcome. There is coffe, tea and assorted ice teas available, free, to their guests all day with champagne and cookies in the late afternoon and then wine and cheese around six. The rooms are nicely appointed with plently of heavy towels in the bathroom. Beds are turned down each evening with chocolates and the next day's weather forecast on your pillow. The beds each have four pillows and you can get additional pillows, such as a body pillow upon request. Nothing is too much trouble for the cheerful, helpful staff. We recommend this hotel.

| Just back from a week at the French Quarter Inn. Charleston was 95 degrees every day so a comfotable hotel was important. French Quarter Inn met all expectations. As others have said, breakfast is furnished daily, either in room or in the lobby/patio. Delicious sweet rolls, fresh muffins, juices, coffee, tea (and bagels on the room service menu). Order room service for 8 am, they call at 8 exactly to wake you and are at the door 5 minutes later. There is also 24 hour coffee and tea in the lobby and on each floor. After breakfast, there is mango and peach iced tea (delicious!!) and lemonade in the lobby until 11 pm. And boy does it hit the spot after touring Charleston in the heat! Wine and cheese 5 to 6 pm, and cookies and milk at 9 pm. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds, but lacked a comfortable chair for sitting and reading a book or dozing. The location is perfect- 10 steps from Market Street, the tourist center of Charleston. The front desk staff is amazingly helpful with ideas for sightseeing /dining/shopping; one of the ladies even gave us directions to her hidden favorite beach across the river (away from tourists). Overall, you cannot go wrong at this hotel.

| Everything about this small hotel is impressive. The service is luxurious, with snacks in the lobby, coffee on each floor all day, turn down service, pillow selection, etc. The staff are friendly and helpful with suggestions on restaurants and activities. Best of all it's located in the heart of the historic district and within a few blocks of the waterfront, the Battery and dozens of restaurants. We loved it!

| From the moment we arrived, my 12 year old son and I were treated with kindness. The staff were gracious and helpful at every turn. At 3 PM during check-in everyone was treated to champagne and cookies. At 5pm we had a wine and cheese party in their fabulous lobby. The small inn made coming and going a breeze. When I picked a "marginal" restaurant for dinner, the car valent suggested we change to another one. He was so right. The French Quarter Inn was a great find and made the entire trip wonderful.

| This hotel has it all - great service, ammenities, and location to downtown Charleston activities. I was served complimentary champagne at check in while my reservation was confirmed - the front desk had no record of my booking through Expedia. This was not a problem they copied my itinerary and I was on my way to a relaxing stay. My room was on the 3rd floor and the large patio was a great spot to look out over the Charleston Market and see the Cooper River Bridge in the distance. Coffee was available on all the floors and iced tea and lemonade was available in the lobby. The continental breakfast can be served in your room if you like. The staff works very hard to ensure all your needs are met. I'll stay here again when I visit Charleston.

| This small hotel is in the heart of the historic district, in easy walking distance to attractions and fine restaurants. The staff manages to provide guests with the ultimate in pampering unobtrusively. Continental breakfast, beverages and snacks are provided through the day, ending with cookies & milk at bedtime. And, providing for individual comfort, there's a "menu" of pillow choices and even a pillow concierge! I can't wait to go back!

| What a wonderful hotel this is! Every one of your creature conforts is tended to, and with a smile! Champagne on arrival, free breakfast-in-room or in the lobby, 5:00 wine and cheese, milk and hot cookies at 9:00 PM. I must have gained 5 pounds in a week. Great tourist advice at the front desk.... great mattresses. They even have a pillow menu. A true boutique hotel in the heart of Charleston.

We received an upgrade to a junior suite (sumptuous) and could choose from a pillow menu, no less. The staff allowed us use of their computer. Only drawback: lights for reading were limited.
