| I stayed at the St. Sulpice for three days and I loved it. Lovely, sophisticated hotel in Vieux Montreal with first-rate service. Spacious suite with a kitchenette. Service was swift, attentive and cheerful. I will definitely stay there on my next visit to Montreal.

| The hotel is in a great location for tourists and those attending business at the Palais de Congres - it is just behind the Notre Dame Basilica, in Old Montreal. My room, a small suite, had a kitchenette (great for families), gorgeous bathroom, and extremely comfortable bed. This is a boutique hotel, so they offer various little extras, for example, personalized business cards when you check in with your name and the hotel's address, and free internet access. A nice place to pamper yourself!

| I booked this hotel based on the customer reviews. It scored higher than any other hotel in Montreal, and lived up to its reputation. It is fantastic. EXCELLENT service, clean, quite, very comfortable. We were initially given a one bedroom suite on the ground floor, which didn't offer much privacy. I asked to be moved, and the room we were given was lovely. One note:the fireplace (at least in our suite) was fake. I think that's not true in the higher categories of rooms.

| The only problem was the spa. The listed hours were 6 a.m., but they were not open at 6, 6:15 or 6:30. I couldn't keep going back after that. Also, the manicure I got was not very professional.

| Le Saint Sulpice is a first-rate, quaint hotel in a terrific location with very gracious service. Our room was recently updated and had a comfortable bed and wonderful bathroom fixtures. Our "Junior Suite" was quite roomy and no more expensive than a standard hotel room - ideal for a couple traveling with a child. Le Saint Sulpice is a great value.

| My husband and I stayed at Le Saint Sulpice for 4 nights, having found it through Expedia. We got a room with a balcony and a fireplace. The staff is great (maybe a bit overanxious to please) and the accommodations are luxurious. We liked the suite concept because one of us could go to bed or get up earlier without waking the other, and having a kitchenette meant we could have light breakfasts and lunch in our room (or the balcony). The hotel is in a great location in Old Montreal, within easy walking distance to the metro and an easy walk to many restaurants and some bars.

| The Saint Sulpice is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at! It is the kind of place that you think, "I really want to enjoy this room while I am here." The hotel's description of its kitchen facilities in each room are understated. It is not a hot plate, but a regular glass-topped cook top. It is not utilitarian, but more gourmet elegant. The bathroom was out of Architectural Digest. The loft room was incredibly spacious, with a nice couch and coffee table, and a wing table that could be used for dining. There is ample drawer space for a week long stay. The food at the restaurant was wonderful!. Have the sea bass. It was noisy that night because of a private party, and so the hostess gave us two free desserts. The creme brulee was cold, however, so go for the dessert specialties, like the apple tatin... Very good. We will definitely try to go back!

I had a lovely stay at this hotel. I really can't wait to go back.

| This "boutique hotel" is only about five years old but has an pleasant, older ambience. Located directly behind Notre Dame, it is convenient to the Palais des Congres Conference Center, Old Montreal, China Town, etc. I was able to walk to many places. Having a microwave, refrigerator, and stove top in the room (all hidden by cabinets so it didn't affect the appearance) was extremely helpful since my medical condition requires a gluten-free diet. Extremely helpful service staff. Excellent bathroom facilities. Highly recommend for the price.

| Le Saint-Supice has a wonderful location, and four-star accomodations to be sure. Its staff is helpful and polite, without being arrogant. The rooms are spacious, updated and well-stocked. The bed, however, is another story. They're not old, they're not ugly. The sheets and down comforter are better than you'd get in most any other hotel. As boutiquey and unique as the Murphy beds are, they're just not very comfortable. They're hard. They're low to the ground... Just not great. You'd think a hotel as fine as Le Saint-Sulpice wouldn't skimp on such an integral facet of guest satisfaction. The turn-down service was nice -- with a letter card displaying the following day's weather, and two bottles of water. Complimentary umbrellas are a nice feature, as are the newspapers tied to the door in the morning. However, the newspaper service was inconsistent. We stayed for three days. On Day 1 and Day 2, we had a newspaper tied to our door (the local English paper.) On Day 3, no newspaper in sight. In addition, while we were treated to complimentary NY Times and USA Today for the first two days of our stay, there wasn't an English newspaper to be found on our door, or in the lobby on our check-out day. Overall, however, our stay was nice and we enjoyed the hotel. The location next to Notre Dame in Vieux-Montreal was perfect. A number of great restaurants and bakeries are nearby, and the charm of Old Town was wonderful.

| Saint Suplice is an excellent small hotel in the heart of old town Montreal. I was pleasantly surprised to find that my room was actually a spacious suite, with a living room and small kitchen facilities. The restaurant serves good breakfasts, but if you don't have breakfast vouchers, you have to attract the attention of the wait staff for service. That is my only complaint.
