| The Alexandria Hotel Pentagon South is a good place for a good nights sleep. Not many ammenities, and the greatest draw for me, free shuttle service, was inefficient. Overall, I felt safe and I slept very well. I arrived late and there was no mini bar in the room and the kitchen was already closed. So that was a bummer. Just as well though, because when I ordered breakfast in the morning it was marginal at best. My biggest gripe with the hotel was the free shuttle service which was supposed to run every 30 minutes. I waited in the cold for 20 minutes for the shuttle to pick up from the metro stop. I had called the hotel to ask how long I should expect to wait and the attendant said, "the shuttle will be there momentarily Maam"...20 minutes later I was finally picked up. The next morning I waited 45 minutes for the shuttle to take me back to the metro. Not very efficient.

| Good rate. Just off the highway, convenient to Alexandria, VA, without being in the thick of it. The complementary breakfast is nothing to get excited about.

| It wasn't the worst place I've ever stayed, but there was nothing special about it. The hotel was a little run down looking. The bed was just okay. The staff were not overly helpful or attentive. It is right across the street from a strip mall that has places to get a quick meal, which was helpful.

| The staff was very accommodating and nice to deal with. The only down fall to this hotel was that the tram service was erratic as they were understaffed (although the drivers were very helpful and friendly). Rooms were very clean.

| Good hotel. Hard to find though. The room was very comfortable. Best sleep i've had in a while. Didn't know that you have to pay $10 for parking EACH night. Downer!!

| Found this hotel to be a great price and convenient for visiting the DC sites. Hotel has shuttle service every 30 min. to and from Reagan Nat'l Airport and the Pentagon City Metro station. Then it's a short subway ride downtown. Also, hotel bedding was better than your usual hotel fare. Comfy room.

| We arrived in late due to a flight problem, the hotel was a little difficult to find in the dark. We called them and they did a good job with directions. We had a rental car because we wanted to see a few out-of-the-way things, however, the best way to see downtown D.C. is to use the hotel provided shuttle to Pentagon City Metro. Hotel shuttle drivers have a lot of knowledge about the area, so ask. To park your car cost $10 a night, but your car is safe.

| This hotel was alittle out of the way for business on the Hill but the shuttle service to the metro station made it manageable as well as cost effective. The shuttle drivers were extremely friendly and helpful. It was obvious from conversations on the shuttle that the hotel had many repeat customers. Now that I know how to use the shuttles to overcome the distance, I would defintely stay at this hotel again.

| The location of the Sheraton South Pentagon hotel is not near any established restaurants. Travel to Washington DC is best done through the Metro system that is easy to use. Overall the staff of the Sheraton South Pentagon was very helpful and courteous. The restaurant in the hotel had good service and the food. The location of the Sheraton South Pentagon is nearest Regan Natonal airport. Our flight was booked (through Expedia) into the Dulles airport. Dulles airport is a long ways from the Sheraton South Pentagon hotel. Vistors don't know the location of the hotel compared to the nearest airport. This was very inconvient and expensive to travel several miles extra to and from the airport (Dulles). The Shuttle service from the hotel to Pentagon City to catch the Metro was sometimes erratic.
