| My husband and I spent 6 nights at the Blackwell at Christmas while in Columbus visiting our families. We had a great stay and plan to use the hotel for future visits home. The room was clean and very comfortable -- nicely furnished -- and the hotel was quiet. The staff was friendly and responded to most of our requests during a time when the hotel was pretty empty. (A note left for the housekeeping staff to change a lightbulb and replace the broken bathroom scale went unanswered, but a request for an extra pillow was satisfied just fine -- we should probably have called the front desk instead.) We only had one light breakfast in the hotel dining room, so we can't comment on the food. The valet service, which we recommend at $15 a day with unlimited requests for retrieving one's vehicle, was worth it. They spotted a leaking tire on our rental and kept it filled up till we could swap it for another car. We recommend the Blackwell without reservation (no pun intended) -- it was truly our home while back home!

| This was an excellent hotel with an excellent location right on the campus of Ohio State. Great shopping and restaurants nearby.

| Staff is very friendly and helpful. Nice, quality, comfortable furnishings. Everything is exceptionally clean. Very classy and impressionable. I definitely recommend.

| I was very surprised and delighted by the convenience and accommadations of this hotel. Everyone was helpful. The room and all the extras were wonderful. The meal in the restaurant was excellent. The best thing was the price could not be beat.

| A great place to stay. The rooms were an excellent value for the price paid. The staff was extremely courteous. An employee went as far as to stop running the vacuum while we were waiting for the elevator and then resumed once the doors had closed. Only wish their were more hotels from this chain in the U.S. Highly recommend to anyone!

| Highly recommend this hotel! Classy rooms, classy staff, and very clean! Totally impressed by on-site dining, as well. Something I can't say for many of the hotels I book into. From the outside looking in, I was a little nervous thinking I had made a mistake (looks like an office building), but I was pleasantly surprised! This hotel is outstanding in every sense. I had several collegues book here as well...they were all very impressed! Beautiful accomodations, friendly - helpful staff, SUPER clean!!
