Well located--a quiet area, but close to the Metro, near a lively night spot with a friendly, upscale crowd, a great deli, and a small shopping center.

we had a very comfortable stay here while on travel for a family emergency. the room was spacious and clean. the hotel offers free use of the business center, and the hotel gym has recently been renovated and is very well-equipped (over 6 cardio machines (with personal video/audio), weight machines, and free weights). staff were very friendly and helpful. we were pleased.

We were in DC in February so it was great to have a cozy haven to come back to after a day of sight-seeing. The hotel was perfectly situated next to a Metro stop, had great housekeeping and a nice parking garage. The breakfast was overpriced for what it was, but that was really the only thing that was irksome.

The hotel location is very near the Metro and makes all of the major tourist attractions easy to get to. However, the main attribute of the hotel is the extremely helpful staff at the front desk. The always went way beyond what was required be helpful and nice. Also the cookies were a nice touch and the maid service was fantastic.

This hotel made our stay extremely comfortable! It was a good feeling to know we had such a great place to come back to after a long day of sightseeing in DC. It is very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful! The food (breakfast and room service) was delicious! The metro is within a very short walking distance which makes traveling about DC convenient and easy. Furthermore, there was a Cosi cafe located down the block which is a definite plus. I strongly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is not as opulent as you would expect from a Hilton but it is not bad either. The staff was quick to fix problems and tried to help when they could. Overall, we would stay there again if we couldn't find an affordable hotel closer to the city.

A very good hotel, good location with all services close-by (market, pharmacy, restaurants, airport, historic sites and metro). If you have a car, the parking garage is small, and I could not find a space for 2 days. For that I gave a 3 in Hotel Service

The selling point for this hotel is totally the price. It's only a quick metro stop into DC, and A LOT cheaper than all the other hotels in the DC area. Overall, it's a good hotel. Nothing spectacular but it does the job.

Checked into a 'clean room' with 'boogers' on one bed's pillow cases and sheets;was immediatly accomodated when brought to housekeeping's attention.Afterwards had very clean rooms with daily service;extremely comfortable bed & pillows; bathroom has no side mirrors & too small for more than one at a time; no fan. Excellent meals thru room service, but make sure the non-english speaking people understand your requests or more than one trip will be needed for things like silverware. 18% built-in gratuity but more seemed expected when the wait person arrived. Great coffee! Very quiet!

This was our first time we stayed in Arlington, VA. The price for a holiday weekend was great and free underground parking included. We ate in the resturant for both breakfast and dinner and were very satified. Only disappointment was that the free shuttle doesn't run on weekend but Metro was 2 blocks away. Alot to do in area around Hotel if you didn't want to go into Washington.

Not only was this a great place to stay, the staff was very accomodating with any request that was made of them (within minutes); the room was modern, clean, the bathroom was was beautiful, and the service desk personnel very professional. About two blocks to Metro, and four blocks from very trendy shopping, restaurants, nightlife, a movie theatre and other things to do. FREE PARKING is a plus!

There are many pluses, its a good, clean, well-maintained hotel. Close to Metro, several ok places to eat nearby. Minuses were the people at the desk weren't particularly helpful and the wireless signal was weak to non-existent, at least in the room I was in. It was much less expensive than other, far worse, hotels in the neighborhood. I'd use it again.

Hotel included free parking in enclosed (very clean) garage with no restriction on coming and going. We would definitely go back to this Hotel in the future.

We stayed at this hotel while on a long weekend sightseeing trip to D.C. The hotel is across the street from a D.C. Metro orange line station, and many of the major sights can be reached conveniently without having to change trains. The room was fine for the price, although the bathroom was a bit on the small side. Parking is complimentary in an underground garage that is connected to the guest room floors by a direct elevator. A choice of either full or continental breakfast is available in a small dining room adjacent to the lobby. The food was acceptable, but the price for the breakfast was too high given that it was a limited service/buffet restaurant. Several nice restaurants are located within a three block radius of the hotel, as well as a couple of coffee shops and a newstand. A multi-screen movie theater is also located only two blocks from the hotel. Overall, this hotel is a good choice for leisure travelers to D.C.

The hotel was situated conveniently -- close to a Metro stop, a movie theater, shops, and several restaurants. The staff, especially housekeeping staff and door staff, went out of their way to accommodate our needs. The only disappointment was breakfast. There didn't seem to be any way to order an in-room breakfast (one of my favorite on-the-road treats), and the condition of the buffet offerings by late morning was not worth the price. I would stay again, though, for all the other positives -- location, free underground parking, staff responsiveness, clean and comfortable room, and reasonable rates.
