Enjoyed the stay. All was great but the English muffins were a little stale. I assume that this was an exception.

Hotel was in a great area, close to ski lifts, even though we visited during the summer. Continental breakfast was good and offered a nice array of items. Staff was very polite and helpful. It's a great place to get away from a big city.

Nice hotel for the money. Walking distance to the lifts. Continental breakfast(which is included with the hotel is pretty marginal).

We spent 3 enjoyable days and nights at the Mountain Inn. Great breakfast bar in the AM. I was impressed with the quality of the eqipment in the fitness room...everything worked!! Also had a great "hot rock" massage at the massage spa in the hotel. Loved the central location of the hotel to everything at the top of the mountain hotel area.

We were 2 families with kids (9 total). The only complaint we had is that one of the families had a room directly above the bar and were kept awake at night. The hotel offered to move them to solve the problem. Other than that, it was close to skiing and eating, had a good breakfast in the morning, and room to eat take out food in the great room at night. The pool and 4 hot tubs entertained us once we got off the slopes. We did not try the shuttle service since it was close enough to walk comfortably. It was a good hotel at a good price.

Rooms come with high speed internet in the form of wired ethernet connections. Please be aware that while the front desk claimed 2 ports prior to arrival, there is only one. Throughput is fair, but latency is around 2 seconds.

We went to Big Sky for my wife's birthday so I called ahead and arranged to have flowers in the room waiting. We also had to check in 4 hours early, due to the arrival of our flight, which wasn't a problem...I did call ahead to give them a heads-up though.

The housekeeping was a little lax on the finer points of making a room in this price range feel special. The beds were basic flat hotel beds. The room had plenty of space and a small kitchenette and the convenience of slopeside was nice.

Hotel is in nice location, but service was not great. We stayed 6 nights and had maid service only 3 times. The pool was contaminated for 3 days, so it could not be used. Atmosphere was very impersonal.

The Mountain Inn is a nice hotel for those who are at Big Sky on a budget, but still want a nice place to stay. It's not as swanky as the Summit, but it's very nice, clean, large, and the service was wonderful. I'd highly recommend it!

All in all we had a great time during our stay. Room was clean, warm and comfortable. We had only a few minor observations that could make for a more enjoyable stay. Hotel staff, although very friendly had little knowlege of local offerings (for example, we were told that the free express buss was not running this time of year, only to find out on our own that it was). Pool and spas were both shut down for maintenance during thier busiest week of the year. Rooms could use some coat hooks to hang snow gear when returning from the mountain.

We stayed there for one night. The room was giant; 2 queens, a fold out couch and kitchenete. The hotel lobby is nice. THere are a lot of comfy couches and chairs. It is a 5 minute walk to the gondola base and there is no sidewalk or walking trail to get there.
