| The common areas of the hotel, and particularly the elevators, are a good 20 years in need of updating -- think linoleum and fluorescent lighting. The room decor is servicable, but not great, and the location is not central to what's going on in Waikiki. On the other hand, if you're looking for a clean and relatively inexpensive place to rest your head at night, this was not bad.

| The room was small but clean. The location was great and the bed was comfortable, not to hard as some are. The elevators were a little slow at times. The breakfast was OK but some mornings our activities started earlier than the breakfast could be picked up. If they could change the pickup to 6AM to accommodate earlier starts that would have been helpful but overall, it was a good stay. The room didn't have an iron or ironing board but the desk gladly brought one up to us when we requested it. We would stay there again.

| The hotel renovation was nicely done. The room, though a bit small, was nicely furnished, clean and comfortable. Free WiFi Internet connection was convenient. Location is great: Walk across Ala Moana Blvd to get to the beach; short walk to Ala Moana shopping center. Their parking garage very tight; a small car is easier to handle. I would definitely stay there again.

| We booked two rooms for an overnight prior to a cruise. I couldn't have asked for a better hotel for the price. While not on the beach, it's less than 5 minutes away. This was a very nice way to start our vacation. Rooms were clean and comfortable, if a little on the small side. The lobby was attractive and the staff very friendly.

| Comfortable room, very nice staff. Bathroom nicely decorated, but VERY small (really no room for more than one person at a time). Hotel doesn't have very many amenities, but good choice if you're not planning on being in hotel much and don't want to spend too much money. FYI: You have to park on the sidewalk in front of the hotel when you check in!

| This hotel was in excellent condition since it had recently been refurbished. It is located right across from the Hilton Garden Inn complex and in walking distance to the mall, beach, and restaurants. The tourist district of Waikiki is just a 10 minute walk away as well or a cheap cab ride. The people there were really nice and helpful.

| I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this hotel. I would definitely stay here again when on a business trip. They have free internet service in each room - which is great. My first room was next to the elevator and I wasn't quite sure if I would be able to put up with the noise for 4 nights. When I asked to be switched to another room, they didn't hesitate. The next room was extremely spacious and clean. The pool is small, but since I didn't spend much time there (2 hours total!), it wasn't a big deal. I really liked the small hotel atmosphere, as I didn't have to deal with crowds or lots of vacationing kids.

| Great value for the $, and you are close to everything. The only complaint I have is that, I reserved a studio delux for my sister and brother-in-law who came to visit from China, and I wanted them to have a good view and a bigger and more comfortable room. I reserved through Expedia and paid in full way in advance. But when we got there, the room they gave was a room without a patio and without a view. Very depressing. After much discussion, they finally gave a studio delux as I expected. I did not appreciate that experience. Aside from that, I don't have anything else to pick. The manager spoke Chinese and was very friendly and helpful, especially to my Chinese-speaking sister and brother-in-law. Also be aware of the additional $15/day parking fee, which I did not know when making the reservation.

| We were very satisfied with the hotel. The rooms were o.k. The single bed was huge and very comfortable. Only two minor complaints, 1-the shower volume was not adjustable. 2-the chairs in the room were not very comfortable. Overall we would recommend it as a clean and reasonably priced place to stay.

| I am almost hesitant to write about this hotel as given the location and price it represents the very best. Although rated at 3.5 stars it compares well with some 4-5 star hotels worldwide. There is no restaurant but the 24 hour diner next door and incredibly close proximity to other restaurants mean that this is not an issue at all. Unbeaten location and internal parking, with good security, means that getting round is easy. If you don't have a car - no problem as the shopping bus is right outside your door and the public bus system literally a few steps away. As I was there for a family reunion it meant that I saw many other hotels where family was staying and I was the lucky one. Would I stay there again - without doubt!

| I stayed 8 nights at this hotel in May 06. Although the room was a little small and the decor is bit outdated, the hotel has excellent location - a few minutes away from Waikiki beach and very close to bus stops and convenience stores. It's also close to two excellent Thai restaurants (Singha and Keo's). The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The cost was moderate.

The room was very quiet- we did not hear anything inside our room - a big plus. The bed was comfortable. It is very easy to get around Waikiki from here, some interesting places within walking distance. We loved it and would definitely stay here again.

| We were only there one night, traveling to another location on the island the next day. Hotel staff was very helpful and room was clean. Parking was available but is very tight (had practice with 3-point turns). For the price it was a great location. First time to Honolulu so the streets were a learning curve. We drove by the hotel at least a couple times without even noticing it was there. I recommend calling the hotel on cell phone when you are close and having them give you directions. Would definitely stay again, IF we ever stay in the "hotel-ally" of Waikiki.

| Well folks, let's not forget that you are in a pretty good location in Honolulu Hawaii. Having said that, this hotel is great for the price. All I was looking for was a clean place to stay because I wasn't planning on spending a lot of time in the room and that's exactly what I got. This place was clean, affordable, and within walking distance to many activities, restaurants, bars, and the beach. I would stay there again and recommend this hotel to others who are not looking to spend a bundle on a hotel room.

TV w/ DVD player, microwave and mini fridge were great. We were on a budget and this hotel was perfect for that. If I could afford better then I would do better. This fit the bill.We were able to spend our money site seeing. Breakfast was a pastry, yogurt and juice.Started us of until we hit the road and everything was within walking distance.
