| The atmosphere is quite relaxing. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel has their own private resort on the beach and the pool beautifully designed for all the enjoyment.

| the only thing that I can say was impressive was I got there at noon and they checked me in right away. THe food was horrible, on the carpet beside my bed there was a big red stain, if I didn't know any better you would think it was blood but it probably was a spilt rum drink and no one cleaned it up. Didn't like the Bahamas would never ever return

| I enjoyed my stay at Wyndham Nassau Resort with my wife as a second honeymoon. The hotel is somewhat dated but the Cable Beach area including shops and restaurants was nice. I will probably go for an all-inclusive resort next time though. I recommend taking a snorkeling trip - it was awesome.

| Although I found the stay relaxing, I ran out of things to do on-site after a day. The hotel management also needs to take responsibility for events scheduled on their property. I was one of the unfortunate ones to experience the cancelation of JUCANU and received no refund even though I bought my ticket from the Hotel.

| Overall I was satisfied with Whyndham, comparing to the amount I paid for their service. Though facilities are somewhat old and looks like worn on some parts, front ladies and bell boys were well trained and I never felt frustrated about the way they served us. we enjoyed hot jacuzzy, looking over the view of beautiful Carribean sea, which we did not expect such relaxing. I can't say the beach is beautiful with piles of sea weeds though. They were supposed be cleared. Meals of restaurants were expensive and better to go downtown by bus for locals.

| My favorite thing about the Wyndham was that you don't have to leave if you don't want to. They have several good restaurants, shopping, casino, beach and pool - parasailing, snorkeling and jet-ski rental right there. That was nice. The activities at the pool kept kids busy and entertained adults as well. My only complaint is that the room wasn't super-clean - but we weren't in the room very much anyway. I recommend the Wyndham.

| For the amount of money paid for this vacation, I would ask everyone to stay clear of the Wyndham. The maintance is dreadful with holes in walls, dirty floors/walls. What is deceiving is the entrance is kept very nice. The safe in the room did not work, though asked front desk three times to fix. All in all, I would rate this hotel with only 1 star, though you will be paying 3-4 star prices. Pay just a little more and stay in a hotel that will be worth the money you're shelling out!

| Even though Cable Beach is away from the downtown area, it is not a hardship. The beach is great, pool quite large, too many restaurants within walking distance to choose from. If the casino is yourthing, take Tower C.

| Overall, I was satisfied with the Wyndham Nassau resort, but the hotel needs to get a face lift. The faded Disney like decor on the exterior cheapens the feel of an otherwise very nice resort. The service was a little slow, especially at the pool bar. A must do is getting room service for breakfast at least one morning. It took about 45 minutes to the room, but the food was excellent, and they set it all up for you on the balcony over looking the ocean...very nice. There is a lot of beach area, for some relaxing sun bathing, but because of a storm surge wall directly in front of hotel, you have to go off to the side to get any wave action. The casino is slightly better than average, using Vegas as a comparison. Overall, this place is a good find for the price; it is a couple of blocks from the Fish Fry (locals hang out for native cuisine), and only a $15 cab ride to the attractions at Atlantis.

| November '04 - My fiancee and I reached the hotel around 12pm. Most of the rooms were not ready for check-in. You either had to leave your luggage with an attendant and come back at 3pm or just come back at 3pm when the room would be ready. We rented a car so we left the luggage in the car and went towards the docks to a Conch & Steak restaurant. The room was a oceanview on the fourth floor. The view was nice except it was the last room in the corner and because the building is round, we couldn't see "our" beach. The room has an electronic safe which you get charged daily if you use. The fridge didn't have any snacks but I think you could order some, which you'd obviously get charged for again. We stayed 5 nights. Our biggest gripe was the smell. Both the ocean and the water in the hotel room smelled very foul. The hotel's beach cove was filled with seaweed so that wasn't available. The play-pool is relatively large and has a water slide and water bar. Being of Caribbean decent, I enjoyed the music played at the pool. The hotel's parking lot was across the street and a block away. All in all everyone was very friendly and polite which made our stay one to remember.

| Unsatisfactory was my stay, the standard room was something you would get at a budget hotel. Two of the hooks for the drapes were missing and hanging, the lamp by the bed lightbulb was blown, the radio did'nt work, a picture was missing on the wall so the four holes were filled with toilet tissue and a left over condom package was under the bed. When I request a better room, that room was not cleaned throughly which I informed the head maid. I informed the head supervisor of this situation, nothing was done. The third day of my stay I received a call from AYS Director, she apologized, but still did'nt offer a better room. She left a gift bag in my room, when I request to thank her personally, she never came to the front desk, I spoke with her on the phone. I returned the gift bag upon checking out. This was not my first experience staying at a Wyndham hotel. I will never stay at any Wyndham chain again..

| Some of the staff in the food services were not always friendly and helpful. Other than that we were very satisfied with the hotel's beautiful facilities and other services. Jet-skiing, para-sailing and snorkling are right by the hotel's beach. The location of the hotel is close to town and the cruise ship dock. Atlantis, the most incredible vacation spot I've ever seen, is about 20 minutes away by car.
