Have stayed in many San Diego hotels in or near Old Town, and for the price, would stay here again. Clean, comfortable, great front desk staff.

WE stayed at this hotel before and decided to give it another shot anyway. We stayed there for a total of 2 nights. The first night we had to change our room because there were people drinking outside our room at 11 at night. They moved us to another room that had a kitchenete with a murphy bed. It was the most uncomfortable bed ever!!!! It was like sleeping on a sofa bed. When we returned from Sea World the second day it took us 1/2 an hour to get back into our room because the room key became de-magnitized (we were told this happens frequently) When I complained to the manager of what had happened. She told me that those people pay for the room the same as I do and they are allowed to do what they want. All we can ask them to do is keep it down. Most people don't complain till 11:30." Plus, the safety seal on the shampoo and lotion was broken. We did not sleep all weekend and the manager was rude!!! We will NEVER stay there again!!!!! Not for families.

This is a convenient hotel to stay in if it is for a short stay. The breakfast was good and the people are nice. If you want fancy, this is not it. But if you want comfort and convenience, you should stay here,

When I looked for a hotel, my primary concerns were price, location & pool This hotel not only had a pool, but a hot tub and a wading pool. We have 3 young children so this feature alone put them above anyone else in the same price range. During our stay we soon found out that the best feature was the continental breakfast room. Not only did they have many food choices to please our entire family, it helped us save time in the mornings by not having to get 3 young children ready, into a car, then to a restaurant and all the hassle that goes with that undertaking. After all the overpriced food you end up having to buy at the attractions, it was very nice to have one meal free for a change! When we vacation all we really want is a clean, safe place to sleep. Luxury hotels are too pricey and we want to enjoy our vacation- not spend a lot of time in a hotel room. This hotel fit our bill and then some with the pools & breakfast. I would definately recommend this hotel for families who seek the same. My only complaint is that the bed was a little too hard for my liking.

Located in Hotel Circle South, the hotel is conveniently located. It is adjacent to freeway access, and is less than 10 minutes from major attractions, like the zoo, Old Town, shopping malls, etc. The hotel includes a no-charge continental breakfast each day, and has a very nice, clean pool. Parking for each room is adjacent to the room. I would definitely stay there again.

This Comfort Inn is a great bargain! It is close to Old Town and The Zoo as well as two major shopping centers. The staff is friendly and accomodating and the property is well maintained.I have stayed at many Hotel Circle properties, and this ranks high on my list.
