Considering this was a Sheraton establishment I expected more & better. The room was ok but in an older part of the hotel; I noticed differences in paint, wallpaper & furnishings. The bathroom was way too small. The restaurant meals were very expensive; not a value for the money you spend. The staff was very attentive & helpful. It's in a great location. The shuttle was a big plus when we were too tired at the end of the day.

Conveniently located next to Unversal Studios and City Walk with complementary shuttle. Also, conveniently located to Hollywood and Beverly Hill and Santa Monica. Located in a very nice part of town. Was not afraid to be out alone at night. The rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.I will indeed stay there next time I visit the LA area.

The only thing that I was happy with was the location. One of our rooms was not ready when we checked in and we had to wait for it for almost 3 hours due to the lack of communication between staff members. I finally had to get the front desk manager involved or we might still be waiting in the lobby. Our rooms were "worn out" and the carpet was dirty. The restaurant service was great but the food was a bit pricey for what is served and the menu is very limited. This hotel charges for everything! Phone, parking, Internet Service (unless you use the free wireless service in the lobby) and for the use of their computers. Even snacks can only be purchased through the front desk or gift shop. I was prepared to pay higher than usual prices for things given the location but it was a bit out of control.

This hotel is VERY convenient to Universal Studios if that is what you want. They promote their Sweet Sleeper bed, but I found this bed hard as a rock and I tossed and turned all night. The room is pricey, for the size of the room. They do not have a free breakfast and I found the restaurant prices to be a bit higher than others.

We were happy with the service and the location. The restaurant was great and the prices acceptable. The concierge was very helpful. we had an overall positive experience except for the location of our room. It was on the 18th floor with a great view of Universal studious but there is a rooftop banquet room on the 20th floor. We were awakened early one day due to the banging of the chairs for a party being set up, then we were kept awake until after midnight with the loud music from the band playing, then early the next morning the banging of the chairs being again moved really shortened our sleep time!
