    Features
What to expect: Styled like a plantation house converted to a country inn, the hotel offers moderately priced lodging and a tranquil ambience for travelers seeking poolside relaxation and walking-distance access to Rodney Bay Village's many restaurants. Guests enjoy full access to all facilities at an adjacent 83-room partner hotel.

Amenity highlights: A small rectangular pool fronts the hotel. Guests also may use a 52-m (170-ft) freeform pool up four short flights of steps at an adjacent partner hotel, Coco Palm. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available throughout both this hotel and the partner hotel and on both hotels' poolside sundecks.

Insider tip: Locals and visitors gather at various spots on Friday nights for outdoor music and food. Many St. Lucians rank the fish fry at Anse La Reye, a central-coast town 25.5 (16 mi) south of the hotel, as the island's best, perhaps because food stalls serve lobster.

A complimentary deluxe Continental breakfast is provided each morning in Ti Bananne restaurant, with early-morning service offered in Café Kaiso. Both the restaurant and the café are at an adjacent partner hotel, Coco Palm, which lies up four short flights of steps from this hotel's grounds.

Note: Although the hotel does not have its own restaurant, guests have signing privileges at Ti Bananne restaurant and Café Kaiso at the adjacent Coco Palm hotel. Around-the-clock room service is also available from Coco Palm's kitchens. This hotel does have its own casual bar/lounge, Brown Sugar, which is open on the hotel's little pool-view veranda from early evening to late night.

Ti Bananne - Open-air, pool-view, veranda-style restaurant/bar with wood-beam ceiling, island-scene murals, open kitchen. Seating also on wood deck. American/English/creole breakfasts. Lunch choices such as salads, sandwiches, burgers, pork chops, garlic shrimp, chicken, fish, steaks, and shrimp, and seafood brochettes. Dinner choices such as foie gras with sorrel-glazed plantain, pork with ginger and cloves, grilled portobello with goat cheese and Indian-spiced eggplant, lobster en papillote with coriander vinaigrette, lobster and shrimp in coconut-curry sauce. Live music two nights weekly at poolside bandstand.

A very nice intimate hotel. Friendly management . Very Helpful. CLean and well kept. Rooms are a bit small but has what is needed for a quiet vacation. Pool is too small, but the sister hotel on same compound has a fantastic large pool . Best part of this hotel is that it is on the stretch of restaurants and bars where the night life is. No need to drive, just walk out of hotel and you are in the night life area. Very convenient for the party goers and night time people. Very safe indeed. Recommended for single people and young couples.

Small hotel , like a home away from home, located smack dab in the middle of the action. Staff was friendly and very accomodating and well connected in regards to making things happen.Free continental breakfast on the veranda. Within walking distance to everything. Restaurant Ti Bananne at sister hotel, dining al fresco, it's beautiful and the food is great.

We were very pleased with our experience at the Coco Kreole. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and helpful, especially Duty Manager Peppy. We are experienced travelers and appreciated the non-intrusive staff. When we needed help, we asked for it and were given good advice, but nobody tried to "manage" us into programmed activities. Coco Kreole is conveniently located near excellent restaurants for dinner, although its sister property, Coco Palm, also has a wonderful restaurant, Ti Bananne. The area felt safe and we felt comfortable walking around at night.

My wife and I stayed at Coco Kreole for a week in Mar 06 and we really enjoyed it. If you don't mind being right on the beach (it's a 10 min walk) or being surrounded by hundreds of other guests (it only has about 10 rooms) this is a great place to stay in the Castries area. The staff, from the management down, were friendly and helpful. The courtyard rooms (which we had) are not scenic and can be noisy, especially on Fri. and Sat., but we didn't mind, we just joined the party! If you want peace and quiet, the poolside rooms are the way to go, or staying uphill, at the Coco Palm. The pool is not as small as we imagined, but it is too deep for children (families went up to use the Coco Palm pool). We would recommend the Coco Kreole, but if we ever come to St Lucia again we would most likely stay in the South. It's much more scenic there and closer to the things we like to do (hiking, diving, bathing in the hot springs...there's very little natural beauty left in the northwest)

A small, personable hotel. I could not believe how friendly and helpful the staff was. My room was clean and comfortable with a/c and cable t.v. The perfect place if one wants to avoid huge hotels and get to know the local culture a bit.

Coco Kreole is a small hotel, that is clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly and helpful, perhaps the nicest staff of any hotel I've stayed at. It's not a fancy place, but St Lucia is not a place where you want to stay in your room alot. Thre's a nice beach a short walk away, as well as many very good restaruants, a bank, and a small shopping mall, and a grocery store. Can't beat it for the price.
