| We were here for the US Coast Guard graduation during the winter months (snow was all around) and very few motel/hotels are open during this time of the year. I found this inexpensive hotel on EXPEDIA and booked it. It was the best thing that we did... Super hotel service, excellent decor centered around the 60's and the "Jetson" family. You'll enjoy a continental breakfast in the "Astro" room, affectionately named after Astro the dog. Although the area and hotel are geared for the summer months, the treated us like we were the only ones there! We can't wait to go back. Thanks STARLUX and STAFF!! Oh and Expedia too!!

| This was a cute hotel. We went in the off season and only stayed one night during the week. They had a free breakfast-pastries, juice, coffee. No fruit or cereal. I was told "No fruit during the week." But the staff was friendly and courteous. Beds were comfortable. And the Lava Lamp in our room was a HUGE hit with our girls. A nice little place to stay. Close to the beach, too!

| The hotel's decor is quite fasinating. Our room was a little small and lacked lighting. We wish there had been a fan in the restroom as well. The complimentary breakfast the next morning was great. The pool was well maintained and we saw employees testing the pools level on a daily basis which was comforting.
