| This "high rise" (12-floor) English hotel was built probably in the 60s. It boasts a spectacular view of the city of Liverpool, especially at night. However, the hotel itself is run down, dilapidated, and shabby. The windows don't open, and the atmosphere is airless. The breakfast is terrible! It's a depressing place to stay, and the wonderful city of Liverpool deserves much better. This hotel could be spectacular if it were properly renovated!
