| This was a place for me to sleep. Spent most of the day in DC. The hotel is in a good location. There are lots of restaurants around. The free continental breakfast was great to grab a bite on the go. My only complaint was that the maid decided to "clean" the desk in the room and disposed of all the receipts I was saving from the trip. Argh! Good place to stay. I recommend it.

| the overall service was very good, the room was clean, not a bad deal for the money, all room appliances are several years old, tv remote was not working, but overall if you objective is to rest for the night , it is ok

| I did a lot of research to find the right place to stay. I had two recommendations for the Inn at Fairfax, plus favorable online reviews. They were dead on. As we were using public transportation during our stay, the Inn was located conveniently near both the local CUE bus, and the Metrobus line. From there, it was an easy skip into DC (and to the 'Skins game). While it is an older building, with plans of renovation, it is kept very clean. The staff at the Inn are very friendly and helpful. I'm glad that I followed the recommendations, and stayed at the Inn at Fairfax, and would recommend it to others

| Very few power outlets were available; all were being used for desk lams, TV, etc. I actually worked on my charging laptop on the vanity, the only place I could get a free outlet. This also made ironing problematic.

| Didn't expect much, but the service with smile was absolutely fantastic. This heart warming attitude does make me want to go back at stay there on my next trip
