| It was a real pleasure to stay in this beautiful old historic building, but have all the comforts of the 21st century. The staff was extremely helpful with every question or need.

| I booked this hotel this hotel based on another travelers review. It was great! The hotel is in a great location especially if you are going to a concert in Hartford (which we were). The room had a ton of character. I would stay there again without question!

| we had an excellent stay at the Goodwin. The decor was fabulous. The bathroom was spacious and the room was wonderful. I had a great view of the downtown from my room. Those drapes made the room look like midnight at any time of the day, which was a plus for me. I loved it.

| A very nice landmark hotel in downtown Hartford, very convenient to the highways, clean, safe, upscale, good attached parking. Well known. We have also done large scale events there with good success.

| Convenient location. Nice lobby. Average hotel. Restaurant had bad odor and poor service - - eat at Max's across the street. Small and only TV angled sideways to bed makes viewing difficult.

| Probably one of the best values in Hartford. Beautiful exterior and lobby and my room was clean and comfortable. Staff were nice and polite. Huge bathroom with robe. One drawback was a the lack of a coffee maker in the room. Centrally located near a number of good restaurants and Union Station.

| The hotel was over-priced for that provided. The room service was extremely expensive. There was no coffee maker in the room nor a full-sized ironing board. There is construction directly across the street and the area is generally unsightly.
