This hotel’s location on Main Street provides easy access to most major attractions, and complimentary shuttle service is provided to the Country Club Plaza and Westport, and to the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art and the University of Missouri-Kansas City. A small, 24-hour fitness room has several machines, including a treadmill and a stationary bike. The small, 24-hour business center, located in the lobby, includes two computer work stations and a printer. Complimentary parking is available in front of or behind the hotel in secure lots. An outdoor patio is available for breakfast or social gatherings. Guests may use the nearby St. Luke’s Hospital Fitness Center at a discounted rate. What to expect: This hotel and its location appeal to families and to business and leisure travelers. The fountain-filled Main Street entrance leads to an airy lobby, where gourmet coffee and newspapers are available. Wrought-iron furniture fills the breakfast area and outdoor patio, which are available for dining or casual meetings. On game days, the hotel is the Truman Sports Complex (Chiefs/Royals) shuttle stops at the hotel (surcharge).

| Surprisingly friendly and helpful front desk! First Best Western I've stayed in that offered a complimentary business center (computer w/ internet access). The only minor inconvenience I experienced was having only half of my towels replenished by the cleaning lady during one day of my stay. After three nights with no other complaints, I would definitely stay again.

| Six of us take an annual "baseball" trip to visit Major League ballparks & the great American cities that they call home. We require 3 hotel rooms, so we're looking for good value & location convenient to the park & local sites. This hotel was very stratigically located 4 block fromthe Plaza & directly on the "max" bus route & the shuttle bus route to Kaufman Stadium. Big ups for the location. None of us had ever been to K.C. before, so the staff was asked a lot of questions. They were extremely helpful & very pleasant, always ready with a smile. They also offer a free shuttle of their own to & from the Plaza & Westport, a local night-life destination. Their recommendations for dining & transport were effective & appropriate. Not any "glitz" at this hotel, but a terrific value with very good service. No pool or gym, but you can use another "sister" hotel's facilities that are 2 blocks away. Highly recommended

| This hotel is in a nice location. It is close to Country Club Plaza and Westport which are great for restaraunts, shopping and bars. The hotel staff is great. The rooms are a little tired. They could use a little updating, but they are clean.

| Was pleasantly surprised at how updated and nice this Best Western location was. Some are older and out dated. Not the case here. Easy to find, good parking situation. Felt very safe. Would return here without question.

| The wireless in the room didn't work. Neither did the cable modem and the repairman was *not* helpful. Felt the hotel was short-staffed. Room was clean and comfortable and continental breakfast and coffee in the morning was helpful. The location was good but with a busy gas station and quick mart next door, don't get a room on that end of the hotel. Good for the price.

| We were very happy with the location and the free shuttle to both the Plaza and Westport. The only minus would be that the pool is located a couple of blocks away at their sister hotel. The front desk was very friendly and helpful and the room was clean and as described.

| The staff was always friendly and helpful. They were right on with directions and helpful suggestions. It's close to shopping, dining, night life, etc. This hotel is pet friendly, which was great for us. The staff was even friendly to my puppy Berkley. I would recommend this hotel to others. No restaurant or bar...but that was not a big deal to us.
