| Other reviews had me a bit uneasy, but we stayed for 6 nights and were very satisfied. No it is not the most luxerious, but it does have a fridge and microwave in the room, wireless service, nice pool for the kids and it was clean.

| Hotel is alright for a cheaper place to stay by downtown Charleston. It is about 10-15 minutes away from Charleston.

| This hotel was a quick cab ride from downtown, just across the bridge. It also accepted pets, which was the main reason for our stay. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The room could have been cleaned a little better, especially the bathroom. The sink area had quite a few hairs left on it.

| The room was nice, and the staff was friendly. But I have to say, this hotel has the best breakfast I've ever seen at a hotel - cereals, bagels, all kinds of fresh doughnuts, pastries, juices, good coffee, and the best part: make-your-own-waffle stations!

| For your own peace of mind do not stay at this hotel. I had two rooms reserved for 4 days. At check-in, I was given one key for a room that was already occupied so we had to exchange that room. The other room was suppose to be non-smoking but smelled of smoke and the smoke detector was removed from the wall and sitting on the desk and there were no light bulbs in the lamps. Since we had already exchanged one room we decided to make due only to be woken up at 4:00 a.m. to a beeping smoke alarm because the battery had worn down. When I went to the front desk the only thing they did was offered to move me again. This motel is very noisy. It is situated between two car dealerships & you hear their loud speaker day & night. The other guests at this hotel were running up & down the stairs & car alarms were going off all night in the parking lot. For your peace of mind do not stay here!

| Expected a whole lot more from this hotel from past reviews. Beds were rediculously small, room could have been cleaner, housekeeping was pushy and did little more than make the beds. Breakfast was basically stale doughnuts, cereal and waffles.

| Overall the hotel was very good. Excellent continental breakfest, only a short drive to Historic Downtown, plantations, a shopping mall and a few decent restarants and sports bars.
