| This is a great choice for a nice quality hotel, in the heart of Napa. It is convenient, well kept, has a great complimentary breakfast and works for budget minded people who don't want a chain hotel feel. Perfect for a girls' weekend getaway.

| This hotel was a wonderful place to stay in Napa. The hotel is in a great location in downtown Napa that is close to many good restaurants and to the wineries. It has a very nice patio by the river that serves drinks and a good menu of food choices. My husband and I ordered room service one night, he ordered a burger and I had an eggplant sandwich, both were very good. The room was extremely large and comfortable and had everything you need. My husband and I will definitely return to this hotel again!

| Convenient location whithin a few blocks from malls and Napa center. They provided us with adjacent rooms. We had the impression to have our own little flat. The kids loved it. Nice outdoor heated pool.

| Excellent location equidistant to Route 29 and Silverado Trail. Complimentary amenities: valet parking, in-room refrigerator, fitness center and pool, DVD library and excellent breakfast. Staff on the young side but works hard to please. Terrace overlooking Napa River wonderful spot for breakfast or evening cocktail/cigar. We would stay here again in a heartbeat, especially because the rate was so reasonable through Expedia.

| A fine hotel for a visit to Napa. Not fancy or luxurious but a good 3.5 star. Did not try restaurant but the staff was very friendly and helpful. Pool was a bit small (we were there during a heat wave). Conveniently located in walking distance of downtown and the wine train. Very close to the wineries.

| After traveling in CA and abroad for a week and a half, we were disappointed with River Terrace. The tone was set when we read the warning posted on the wine bottles left in the room. If you lift them, you've bought them! The same applied to anything in the refrigerator. There was no room left for the small package of cheese we had purchased. If that is the only reason for the refrigerator in the room, please leave it out so there is room for our cooler. The breakfast would have been a bright spot if we had been advised about it upon check-in.

| The outside porch along the river was wonderful for a relaxing breakfast. The staff were very helpful and sweet. The artwork in the hotel and rooms were beautiful and available and the sound machine was a wonderful sleep inducer. It was a great find! We would definitely go back.

| River Terrace Inn is located with easy access to both Hwy 29 and the Silverado Trail (closer to Silverado than Hwy 29). The staff were all very friendly and the service was prompt - we requested a mini-fridge and it was delivered the evening we checked in; overnight laundry service was also very prompt. The complimentary breakfast goes beyond just fruit and pastries to include eggs, potatoes, cheese, and some meat, plus the usual bagels and bread to toast, pastries, fruit, granola, 3 types of juice, coffee, tea, and water. They have a large selection of DVD's that you can use in the DVD players - including films for children - and an extensive book of restaurant menus for the area. The workout facilities aren't extensive, but all the equipment is new, and they do provide disinfecting wipes for wiping down the machines after use (the first time I've seen that in a hotel fitness center); there's also a nice path along the river for running. Parking - including valet - is free. The only drawback was that the air conditioning units in the room are a little noisy - especially at night when you're trying to sleep - though they do turn on and off quickly, so it's at most 5 minutes running time. I definitely recommend this hotel - and will stay there again when I'm in Napa.
