| A bit expensive, but worth it based on the location. Perfect if you are in Paris for the Tour de France. Close to 2 Metro lines and many decent cafes and restaurants. Free wireless. Only negative was maid ignoring privacy sign, which was left on the door during the day due to laptop in room.

| Location cannot be beat at this price, but that's all. Was not happy with the hotel, because I am used to higher class accomodations. The facade of the building is only the facade. If you don't plan to spend any time in the room, go for it. At this price you will hardly find a better location.

| A wonderful location on a quiet street, but close to so much. Many fine restaurants in walking distance (staff is helpful with suggestions). Easy walks to Siene, Tour Eiffel, Champs Elysees/Arc De Triomphe and Place Concorde/Tuleries. Beautiful accomodations, very good value for the breakfast and an extrememly helpful and pleasant staff.

| We have never been to Paris, so we did not know what to expect. From a location standpoint, this hotel was excellent. We walked to all of our destinations (Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomph, Louvre, Notre Dame, Invalides). Hotel staff was very helpful. What to expect... Luggage will be taken to your room for you. Coffee is not in your room. Need to order via room service. NO wash clothes or shower curtain/door. This hotel was classier than what I'm used to. Shops along the Rue de Montaigne are high-end. Great vacation.

| The Hotel Montaigne had a great location, wonderful staff, and very comfortable rooms. We traveled with a 17 year old and a 10 year old and both had only good things to say about the hotel. One of our rooms had a balcony with a view of the Valentino salon across the road. The bathrooms were surprisingly large and well appointed. A nice breakfast restaurant started the day of site seeing in central Paris. The hotel's staff were fluent in English and very helpful. A nearby Metro stop made traveling in the city easy. We will definitely stay at the hotel when in Paris and recommend it highly to other travelers.

| We stayed at the Hotel Montainge in early July and had a wonderful experience. Our room looked over the Avenue Montainge which must be one of the prettiest streets in Paris. The room was a decent size, the beds very comfortable and the bathroom was large with a wonderful soaking tub. The staff was pleasant and knowledgable. We walked to most of the areas we visited from the Hotel but also were able to easily catch a cab across the street and the metro is just 2 blocks away. There are dozens of great restaurants in the area and the Champs Elysees is just a 3 min. walk.
