| Well situated in the centre of Lugano, near the cathedral, the motta parking and the lake. The hotel has a direct connection to the train station with the funicolare cable car. Completely renovated in 2002 the hotel will welcome you all year long. Additional information: Children age 6 and under stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding. Children 7-12 will receive a 50 percent reduction.

| Even though we had a small fan in our room and the window was open there was no air to be found. Hotel is situated at the bottom of a Fenicular Railway which stops in the late evening. The buildings are close together preventing any circulation of air. Our room must have been around 90F with very high humidity. There is no refrigerator so we had to survive on warm water and cold showers. Location is very good but if you book early enough you have better choices in hotels nearby. I would call this a backpackers hotel.

| In the heart of Lugano, a simple yet comfortable hotel, rooms are clean and functional, the bed didn't look inviting but it turned out to be very comfortable. The service was helpful and the breakfast was quite abundant. Our room was right next to the funicular that goes to the train station (very convenient) but it might be abit annoying for some, but it wasn't that noisy. Lugano is an expensive city, so this hotel is quite a bargain, considering you are right in the middle of everything.
