The hotel is located in a very nice neighborhood, so walking back late at night isn't a worry. Security is good, with a locking front door to the lobby (locked only at night) There are a copius amount of computers available for use in the lobby, and internet access is available in the room, but it costs a fee. The room was very clean, but honestly my tool shed is bigger. I know these last two points may be typical of European hotels, since I am from the land of free-internet-with-huge-beds-and-rooms cheap hotels, but my room was fairly small even by European standards. But to their credit the room did have its own bathroom. The front desk staff were very friendly and attentive. I never had the hotel's breakfast and therefore cannot comment on it. Hotel is located in Notting Hill and very close to central London; the value for the location is excellent.

The Westminster Hotel is in a lovely section of Bayswater, London. The Hotel is old, but neat, clean and well refurbished into a fine 2.5 star hotel. Amenities are not plentiful, but the location, price point and relative comfort make it a good value for the savy traveler. It's proximity to underground transportation and being a mere one tube stop away from Paddington Station make it ideally suited for easy travel to most of London.

Rather than stay here save your money and get a cheap 25 pound room. It's the same!
