| The room was small and crowded. The prices for coffee and breakfast in the morning were very high, even by English standards.

| The Thistle Gatwick is a great location for coming in and out of London via Gatwick Airport. It would not be convenient for enjoying the sights if London as it is a ways out of the city.

| the hotel is conveniently located near to Gatwick Airport and the room was very tidy and quite luxurious for London; however, i had to wait about 40 minutes for the transfer bus from the airport; also, the breakfast service inexplicably didn't start until 7 a.m. and i was unable to enjoy this due to departing the hotel prior to this time though i was given a complementary pot of tea; overall i recommend it though.

| For travellers with an early flight from Gatwick, the Thistle is ideal. Rooms were comfortable and clean and the bar was a pleasant place to spend a last late night in London.

| Great location for an overnight stay between flights but the Hotel was very bad. Not air conditioned. Rooms small, dingy and hot. Drapes shredded. Bedding was poor. No top sheets. Mattresses worn out and lumpy Staff tried to be helpful but had their hands full will the line of unhappy guests. This room was not worth them money.

| Shuttle service from Gatwich airport was sad, I Waited 1 hr 15 minutes. Hotel reception serivce was bad. The rooms are small and stiffling hot - no air conditioning we saw that most folks open their doors into the hallways to try and get some air flowing. The restaurant has very limited capability and could not seat us for about 45 minutes. There are no other places to eat close by...

| The hotel was just fine by me. But the wifi hookup was completely lethal. It kept disconnecting every 1.5 minutes. I have never seen anything like it; maybe I was making an error, but I dont think so. The van that takes one to and from the airport was absurdly late in both directions, and I ended up taking a cab. Of course many people had to be left behind, since it seats only 8 people, if I remember. I think I would advise taking a cab over paying for their van. It wasnt too high, since the town is close to the airport.

| Hotel was ok - we needed to be close to Gatwick for a 6 am flight, arrived early evening. Room was ok - had 3 twin beds for 2 adults and one child. Convenient hotel bus picked up and dropped off for free. Ate in the attached bar/restaurant - service, food, and ambience ok but wouldnt want to repeat.
