| They might want to consider dehumidifiers in each room. To cut back on the mold that is growing in the bathrooms. Other than that, everything else was okay.

| I had read many reviews on several websites before choosing this hotel, but I was very disappointed. We traveled there summer 2006. The bed was rock hard and we never slept well the 6 nights we stayed. Our king-sized bed consisted of two singles put together so we had a crack in the middle of the bed. Ouch! We were looking forward to some quiet time next to the pool & listening to the waves, but all we heard all day was loud music, some of which had the "f" word or sexual lyrics...not appropriate if music is by the "kids" pool. This music continued from about 9:30-11:30 PM for the evening shows. I was upset to find we would regularly be approached by workers trying to get us to join time-share presentations at Las Palmas. First of all, I can't believe people pay for this hotel as a time-share and secondly I don't like to be hassled at a place I've actually paid to stay at (I can understand at the airport, city locations, etc., but at my own hotel?!?!). I also requested a wake-up call and, lucky for us, our baby woke us up, because we never received it! The cleaning staff, bellhops and restaurant staff were all quite friendly and the food was pretty good, but the evening shows were rather boring. When the baby went to sleep we were hoping to relax and catch some tv, but there was no remote so it was a bit tedious to stand, reach up to the tv and flip through channels until we found something. There isn't much of a beach here either.

| This was our first trip to Puerto Vallarta and we had a good time. We enjoyed the open-air eating area and the pool was great. We thought we were getting a garden view room but ended up in a room with no view, but it was still nice. The food was good and they had different shows every night. All in all it was a good experience.

| The hotel itself was really nice, however I thought the food was terrible. The selection they had was not very accomodating for people who are not interested in very authentic mexican cuisine. I would have liked to see more of a variety of foods for all different types of people and there likes. Also, the food tasted almost like "cafeteria" food. The other concern I had with this hotel was that they were very strict when it came to just plain old having some vacation fun. Several guests were playing frisbee in the pool, and the security at the hotel came over and took it away from us and asked us our room number. Personally, I had not taken part in the frisbee throwing, however because I was in the pool, I was grouped in with taking part in it. It was not disruptive and the other guests were playing along and having fun too. Everyone was trying to have a little fun while on vacation!!
