While the service at this hotel was impeccable, we did not enjoy our stay at all. The hotel is old and in need of updating. Our room was small, the bed uncomfortably firm, the window air conditioner was too loud for us to sleep through. We will not return.

We have been in many hotels in NYC, but the Belvedere is one of the top. For the price, you cannot beat the location, ease of access, and the staff. We'll go back on our next trip.

We found the hotel to be a real classic! Beautifully restored older hotel. My two daughters loved sending their postcards down the old fashion brass postal chute from our 9th floor. Location was excellent! Great value for the price - especially when traveling with family of 4. We were pleasently surprised at how large the room was for a Manhattan location.

The quality of the rooms in this hotel are much better than most I've stayed in at the same price range in NY. They are large, clean, comfortable and recently updated. For that reason and it's convenient location I have been back to this hotel twice now. However there are few bad points. The number, speed and size of the elavators is completely inadequate for the hotel and at busy times you can wait a while. The internet connection is expensive and slow. There is no restaurant or room service (although there are plenty of interesting places to eat nearby, some of which are open late).

We had a spacious room with a great view of the New Youk skyline. The small kitchen area with sink, coffe maker, refrigerator and microwave is extremely convenient. The location is close enough to theaters and restaurants, but far enough away from main traffic areas so noise is not a problem.
