The hotel offers a seasonal outdoor pool and fitness center. Located one mile south of the hotel, the Duke Forest is a university-owned facility dedicated to woodland research that also offers public access for several types of outdoor recreation. Among the options are bird watching, forest roads for running and horseback riding, and a network of hiking and mountain-biking trails. The Hillandale Golf Course is two miles from the hotel, and two more public courses are within 10 miles. | Hotel was located close to all the major interstates and highways, which made it easy to get around town. It was clean and located in a nice area. The continental breakfast was good. The hotel's weight room is not that great. The laundry room only has one washer and one dryer.

| The hotel was exactly as I had hoped - nothing over the top but not cheesy either. Clean rooms, complimentary breakfast buffet (muffins, waffles, bagels). There was a pool but I did no use it. It was fine if your looking a no frills place to sleep.

| I stayed at this hotel last year during renovations; the upgrades and renovations were a pleasant surprise. Great continental breakfast and friendly staff. I will stay here again when in NC - good value for the price.

| This was a very pleasant hotel experience for my wife and I. Everything was clean, the staff was very helpful, the continental breakfast was great (saved a lot more $ on not having to go out for breakfast) and overall we were very satisfied.

| While the hotel location was convenient for our travel purposes, the room was uncomfortable. The air conditioner was very noisy and we were able to hear the folks over us walking, talking and opening and closing their door.
