| Though this hotel is clean and neat, it's very far away from Cascais's town center and any attractions. We did not rent a car and had to take a bus just to get to Cascais! The hotel staff was not very friendly, especially in the restaurant. You rely so heavily on the hotel's restaurant because you are so far out of the way. The staff seems irritated at having to serve people. The hotel is nice, though it lacks a ton of charm. The furniture is just IKEA stuff. Though it has a kitchen, it is totally unequipped and you have to buy everything. For instance, you can't make a cup of coffee as there aren't even any filters. Better to stay in Cascais itself. This villa is just way out of the way.
