This motel wasn't terrible, but not very good. My biggest complaints were the hallways and room had a weird odor and the carpet looked really old and dirty. Small things included missing ice bucket, TV remote that didn't work, etc. The bed was okay. It wasn't that much cheaper than the other motels - I would suggest trying them first.

There are many hotels along this road - pay a little more and stay somewhere else - don't expect much for the breakfast either - they confirmed a NON SMOKING room but when we got there the didn't have any non smoking rooms available and they weren't very helpful about it either.

Not exactly the best part of town and the hotel is old. Poor hotel service. I did not get my wake up call. Noboby bothered too keep the danish's stocked at breakfast. Continental breakfast was danish's,coffee and juice. Rooms where large enough for a family of four and beds were comfortable. Bathroom big enough to change clothes in. No elevator to second floor. Outdoor pool okay.

The staff was friendly, but the room had an odor. The pool was clean and very nice. The motel needs updating.

To start off with when we arrived to the hotel the marquee stated Cedar Point discount. When we asked about it we were handed a can of Pepsi which had a coupon printed on the side for a couple dollars off of admission to the park, which wouldn't work for my family since we were going to be visiting the park for 2 days and the coupon on the can was only for one day. I could have went to a gas station, purchased a Pepsi and recieved the same discount! Our room was not very clean, the fitted sheets did not fit the bed, which was so miserably uncomfortable that my back is still hurting 2 weeks later and made it very hard to walk around the park. The breakfast you recieve is donuts, coffee, and juice. Luckly I didn't expect much else than that, but it would have been nice to at least have creamer for the coffee. When I asked for it I was informed that they did not have any. Trust me when I say, do not try to go cheap on a hotel to have more spending money at the park. Cedar Point has reduced the cost of thier food and other stuff in the park. So now you can afford to sleep comfortable and wake up rested for your long day at the park.

Would not recommend this hotel to my dog. Large insect crawling wall. Overflow garbage in large, uncovered container in hallway. It would have been preferable to smell the old garbage, but hall and room (no smoking) reeked of a combination of smoke and mildew. Save yourself the trouble of the shuttle service to the park. It was poorly organized (the bus driver was pleasant), and not worth the $10 you save in parking at Cedar Point.

This is the type of hotel that reminds you why you don't stay in one star hotels! At a price above what I usually pay for a 3 star hotel I thought it might be decent but it isn't. All the chairs, the carpet and drapes in the room were stained. The doors had only a deadbolt, no chain lock. One door had chunks of wood out of it from a crow bar. The room smelled. The "free" breakfast consisted of a few donuts. If you didn't get down there in the first two hours there would only be a hand full of donuts or donut pieces left. The room smelled. One of the bars of soap was still in packaging but had been wet. The TV remote did not have batteries. The sheets the first night barely covered the top of the mattress. What was good? The air conditioning worked. They had a shuttle to Cedar Point (old dilapidated school bus) and offered $7 discounts. The bathroom was actually clean. It is a short drive to Cedar Point. The second night our sheets were full size! Many patrons stand in the parking lot and stairwells to smoke. And the worst part we didn't notice till we returned home: half of us have insect bites. Not bed bugs, probably spiders. Next time I will pay the extra money and go with a 2 star hotel.

This motel was dirty from the rooms to the swimming pool. It was obvious that the owner is trying to make money by not maintaining much beyond the exterior of the building. Our party had three rooms and all of them had fixable problems that were not new. The staff also didn't seem to know what they were doing when we checked into the rooms.

The hotel was in poor condition (telephone didn't work, no iron in the whole facility). While the hotel was in poor condtion, the staff was friendly and helpful.
