| The rooms are "pure swedish design", clean, comfortable and reasonably equiped, but not too large. The Hotel Rex seems to be restorated, recently and is managed by young and charming people... Ask the young staff where the exciting spots are! e.g. in the evening a "real-blond" swedish lady at the reception told us her recommendation for Dinning and Jazz - both places we went exceeded our expectations!... At breakfast, there was a self-service buffet with a reasonable selection of food: several types of bread, eggs, juice, ham, cheese - all swedish style (i.e. forget the hot bean & sausages...), healty and very delicious. Hotel Rex is located about 1 mile from the central bus/train station of Stockholm and can be easily reached by the metro (exit at: Radmannsgatan) + 300ft walk to the Hotel or by Taxi from Central Station to the Hotel for less than SEK 100. I can recommend this Hotel to people searching for the "swedish values" or people tired of the "international" hotel environments like us.
