| The Stony Creek Hampton Inn is relatively new, and it was a very nice place to stopover on our way to North Myrtle Beach from Pennsylvania. The beds are fabulous--they follow the new trend of all white, higher quality bed linens and a nice puffy comforter. Good size bathroom with the amenities of a higher priced hotel. The room also had a mini-fridge and a microwave as well as an Internet hookup. The continental breakfast wasn't the greatest, though--they were running out of food and had a hard time keeping things supplied. The hot foods were egg "discs" (round scrambled eggs) that were semi-warm, and what looked like grits (sorry, I'm a Northerner!). Also, there weren't enough tables for everyone to eat in the lobby at one point (midway through the time that they serve breakfast). Other than this minor flaw, however, this was a good stopover hotel. Nearby is a Denny's and a Subway, I think.

| I booked this hotel on the great reviews and was very happy with my stay. This Hampton Inn is brand new and very clean. The lobby has a big TV above the fireplace and a computer for the guests. The bathrooms are huge which you rarely see and there is a Denny's in walking distance. The staff is also very friendly. If your traveling 95,this is a nice place to stop.

| We stopped at this Hampton Inn on the way from NJ to Chapel Hill late the night before Thanksgiving. We arrived to find a toasty fire in the lobby fireplace. The lobby is nicely appointed with a living room setting in front of the fireplace, and plenty of tables and chairs for breakfast or late night snacking. Our room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. My only negative comment is the noisy fan for the heat/AC system.
