Each of the three condominium buildings has a heated, freeform, infinity-edge swimming pool measuring approximately 20m (65 ft) as well as a six-person spa tub. Each villa has its own heated, infinity-edge plunge pool measuring approximately 7.5-by-7.5m (25-by-25 ft). Although it’s ideal for strolling and sunbathing, the beach does not provide safe swimming because of powerful undertows. Safe swimming and water sports are available at Médano Beach near downtown Cabo San Lucas 10 km (6.25 mi) away, and safe swimming and snorkeling are available at Santa Maria Beach 1.75 km (1 mi), Chileno Beach 3.75 km (2.5 mi), and Palmilla Beach 17 km (10.7 mi). Guests enjoy complimentary access to the Cabo del Sol development's four lighted tennis courts in daytime, with a surcharge for after-dark play. Whale-watching excursions are available from Cabo San Lucas during the January-March migration of gray whales. The Cabo del Sol development features a large clubhouse and two golf courses: Desert, designed by Tom Weiskopf; and Ocean, designed by Jack Nicklaus. Complimentary shuttle service is provided for resort guests. Resort staff also book tee times at Los Cabos' other major courses: The Raven Golf Club, 8 km (5 mi); Cabo Real Golf Course, 10 km (6.25 mi), and Palmilla Golf Course, 16 km (10 mi). The recreational activities listed below are available either on site or near the resort; fees may apply.

| We stayed at the Puerta Del Sol condos in the Cabo Del Sol community. The 3 BR condo was gorgeous! Immaculate, well decorated, comfortable, with beautiful views of the Sea and the golf courses. Daily cleaning service. Two balconies, one with a private hot tub. All of the staff were very helpful(secured several dinner reservations in advance for us). A full breakfast was included in the daily rate. Delicious meals served in the lovely golf clubhouse-open air, great views, great service! The pools and grounds were very well maintained, with comfortable lounge chairs and spectacular landscaping. Short walk to the beach. Discount on golf rates at the Ocean and Desert courses-wonderful golfing. Rented a car and had no problems getting around. Absolutely would do again!! Far exceeded our expectations! Perfect weather, and no illnesses! A must do!

| Our two condos at Cabo del sol were huge, bright, beautifully furnished, either new or almost new, and very clean. They had full-sized kitchens (with granite countertops, new appliances, etc.) that included everything you might need (except food, which you can get at the new Costco just up the road). The location was beautiful and our building had two great pools within a few feet. The entire facility was quiet and well maintained. One minor drawback was a mixup regarding the free golf that was to come our package - by the time management worked it out, we only had time to play one full round. (Note: you need a car if you stay here.)
