| The Forty Seven Hotel is tucked on the south east side of Rome, very close to Circus Maximus, Palatine Hill, Roman Forum and Coloseum. It is a very clean and modern hotel with every amenity you might possibly need or want. The staff is very fluent in English and extremely helpful. The rooftop bar and restaurant are ideal, and the sunsets are magnificent. I have stayed there the last two times I have been to Rome and would not hesitate to stay again.

| We chose this hotel to spend our 1 year anniversary/honeymoon. Check in was easy and the staff was very nice. Breakfast was tasty and our standard room was large and roomy (compared to other standard european hotel rooms). Oh, and the bathroom was immaculate! The hotel itself is also within walking between all the popular Roman ruins - Palatine Hill, the Coliseum, etc. I would definitely stay here again and again.

| We chose to stay at this hotel based on the positive reviews that we read on Expedia and we're not disappointed. The rooms were good sized, very clean, and had excellent air conditioning. While the location is a mile or two away from the heart of modern Rome, it is right next to classical Rome including the Forum, the Palantine hills and the Colosseum. The trendy Trastavere district is a short walk across the Tiber and offers all types of restuarants and is fun to walk around after dinner.

| This hotel had a large bathroom along with a very comfortable room for the price. We stayed 6 nights in this property and loved it. The breakfast was very good everymorning. The bus stops right in front of the hotel and you can get just about everywhere in Rome on the bus. The only negative thig was we had some ants in the bathroom which was taken care of. overall, great place to stay while in Rome.

| The wife and I are very picky travelers...demand things like freezing-cold A/C, super-cleanliness, internet access, 24/7 service for food, extra-pillows, etc., and this hotel had all of the above...delivered in a very modern way with a cool deco style throughout the hotel. One of our favorite hotels we've ever stayed at in all of Italy.

| My husband & I recently finished up our 5 week Italy trip in Rome @ Hotel 47. It was perfect for us as it allowed a great "loop" to the sights we wanted to see! The balcony off the room overlooked a busy piazza, but it was mesmerizing watching the cars against a backdrop of ancient bldgs. We ate at two restaurants staff recommended-both were fabulous. The common rooms were great, the courtyard = an oasis of peace, and the rooftop bar lulls one into almost missing dinner. Only negative: drink prices were just that: pricey!

| The Fortyseven was fabulous. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. They told us about nearby restaurants from bargains to fine dining. The rooms were immaculate and the shower-well wow-I wish I had a shower head that size in my house. This was our 4th trip to Europe and this was, by far, the best of them all!

| An outstanding hotel. It is small, the decor is warmly contemporary, the rooms are extraordinarily efficient and comfortable. It is well located in a quietish and green open area - a stones throw from the river, fairly close (easily walkable) distance to the forum, coleseum, various museums, Trevi etc. An outstanding feature is the lovely terrace restaurant with its HUGE city view. Great food too. They also have a good breakfast and lunch courtyard restaurant. The next time we go to Rome I would definately choose to stay at this hotel.

| Great modern hotel, adjacent to Fourm, Colosseum, and Circus Maximus. Within walking dustance to Trevi Fountain and Piazza Navona. Staff is very courteous and helpful. Concierge closes early, so need to have it planned before 8pm! High speed internet is a challenge due to the process, but works very well when all said and done. Rooftop lounge is fantastic for view, pictures and al fresco atmosphere.
