| We booked 3 rooms at the Princess. We were impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the front desk staff. Our rooms were clean, and the air conditioning worked PERFECTLY! (which was important after spending 10 days in the Belizean jungle without it). Our only complaint was with the hotel's room service. It took them over an hour to prepare our order, and the hamburgers we received were mostly raw. Aside from this, our experience here was good and I would not hesitate to book here again.

| While the customer serivce was excellent the condition of the hotel was not satisfactory. There was a lot of water damage and peeling paint. Unfortunately the food served did not represent the country. While it is understandable that the hotel is trying to appease tourists it would have been great to see a few of the local foods on the menu.

| Registration Desk Clerk not helpful in explaining hotel's policies. Poor service in Housekeeping Department Insufficient bath towels etc. Menu in dining room need to be more attractive in meal selection and presentation. Porter service a plus. Ice machines did not work Room service was spotty at best Best props was the price.

| Shown on Expedia as a 5 star hotel, it was very disappointing. The lobby and many other places in the hotel had a very unpleasant smell. Rooms were old and showed it. No bathmats, only 2 towels with no handtowels or wash rags, no ice buckets, etc. One of the restaurants on the site had poor quality food. The staff at the front desk were difficult and I had to have strong words with the Manager to get them to cash Amex travelers checks. Not a pleasant stay.

| The staff at the hotel is extremely professional and friendly. The rooms in the hotel have no iron, so bring your own; otherwise you will have to pay to have one of the staff iron your clothes. The hotel is almost like the center of Belize City. It is the only place with a movie theater and casino in the city. Swimming in the pool was difficult; many Belizeans hang out at the pool. The hotel is a great opportunity to interact with Belizeans. Great service. Oh....the bedsheets were scratchy, but I usually sleep on Egyptian cotton 500+ count sheets.

| I thought the hotel was fairly good. However, was disappointed in the dinner service in the Calypso Restaurant. We had no choice but to go to that restaurant as the regular restaurant was closed for dinner that night. The bathrooms were a little dated but clean. Towels and sheets were clean as well.

| Hotel has potential, but poor design makes for ugly views of the hotel's roof when there was potential for better. Also, I found the water front to be less than tidy.
