| This hotel was the highlight of our trip. The hotel was well-taken care of and comfortable with many common areas perfect for relaxing. The hotel was charming and the feel of the place made us feel right at home. The people at the desk were very helpful in giving out accurate local information. We were never steered toward tourist traps or scams. The next time we stay in Jaipur we will definitely be staying here!

| The vacation package, which includes the roundtrip airfare, is very reasonable and a bargain. The hotel has an ethnic/indigenous ambience and we recommend this to someone who wants to savor the local color. Overall, the room, a royal suite, is spacious and OK except for the bathroom amenities which need some upgrading...shower height is too short and the water stream is close to a dribble; open "closet" in the bathroom is set too high. Indian cuisine in open rooftop resto is good and reasonably priced too!

| I stayed at the Umaid Bhawan for 6 nights. The staff at reception were very friendly and efficient as were the restaurant staff (though not all of them had good communication skills). I was a single traveller and was given a small dark room on the ground floor. It was rather basic and it might be worth paying more to stay in a more comfortable hotel.

| This is a really nice, quaint little hotel - it truly gives the visitor a taste of classic Indian style and tradition. Although the bathroom left some to be desired, the bedroom was quite spacious, with marble floors, an exit out on to a cute verandah, a canopy bed, and traditional cushion-seating by classic-styled wooden windows. Check-in/check out procedures were a bit rustic but the staff was polite and helpful -- made you feel like you were home (almost like a little bed and breakfast). Has a nice little rooftop restaurant which serves a decent meal. Definitely a hotel I would recommend to the visitor/tourist looking for something different from a "regular" run-of-the mill kind of hotel...you won't regret it if thats what you're looking for!
