Nice property; all suites have excellent lake view. Staff friendly. But rooms are dated; needs remodeling and and renovation. Also, numerous water spots in ceilings and down walls (restaurant & bar). The hotel is in a great location and has a lot of potential. It needs some TLC and money invested in it.

The room itself was comfortable, but for the price, I've had better. It is right on the lake and if you don't mind standing the entire time to see it, you'll be okay. It has a balcony, again be prepared to stand because the safety railing is enclosed, if you sit, you're viewing a wall. I didn't have problem with noise, but I'm a smoker and think I was alone. The bed was thrown together, not made and when I asked for a larger mattress mat (twin size on a king)they brought it to the door. I had to remake the bed myself. No biggie, but thought it somewhat unprofessional - again for the money, they should have done it. The restaurant is available only on the weekend - no room service. It was okay, but will look elsewhere next time.

The rooms are very big, a lot of space, with a kitchen and livingroom. Indoor and outdoor swimmingpool. Nice when you have children. Breakfast is good. A quite place.

Reasonably priced, nice, older resort hotel. All interior access rooms, wide, well-lit hallways, efficiently designed, roomy suites, clean and comfortable, lovely lakeview from balconies, beautiful and well-maintained grounds. Resident ducks and geese (and their fluffy offspring) kept us entertained. They're doing some renovation at the moment, but it's not disruptive in any way. It'll be a 5 start when they've finished the work on their pool and get the restaurant and bar back in operation. And, unfortunately, it'll probably cost a lot more.

While the staff of the Lake Hamilton Resort was friendly, the resort itself is tired and well worn. Our room had a strong odor, the bedspread had more than a dozen large holes, the carpet was stained, and the hotel was generally old and tired. Not recommended.

The hotel is a bit out of date, service was average at best. But the beautiful locaton outways everything else in my mind. It also had an indoor heated pool which was great for the kids. The value was well worth it. I would go back. Plus if the place was remodeled, they would be charging a much higher price for the rooms.
