| We stayed two nights on Labor Day weekend 2006 in this retrofitted and upgraded motel and enjoyed our accomodations. The rooms were nice, clean and well furnished . . . it passed my wifes test with flying colors!! The owner/operator was attentive and concientious and his efforts are reflected in this well run motel. It is conveniently located 4 miles north of Camden mainstreet and about 1-2 miles from Mt Battie park on the west side of Rt 1. The motel is affordable relative to other B&B's and upscale hotels in the area. The rooms on the "upper level" have better ocean views, though the end unit #112 is a excellent choice on the "lower level". If you haven't visited Camden . . . you should.

| Wonderful Motel! Very clean, cozy rooms, well maintained! Great view of the lake, close to the state park too. I love the town of Camden and this Motel was about 3 miles north of the downtown - just the right distance to get away from the traffic from all of the visitors to the city but close enough to get there in 10 minutes.

| Mount Battie is a motel surrounded by nicer motels and inns and B&Bs. Even though it was a decent place to stay, I felt I could have done better by researching guidebooks, instead of relying on the Internet.

| I enjoyed my stay. It was peaceful. The view of the ocean was perfect. Camden, Maine is about a mile away which was a convenience. My only complaint was that I put a do not disturb sign on the outside of my door and someone was in my hotel room because I noticed that some things in my room were changed such as lighting and air conditioning was turned off. Heads up for anyone who smokes. There is no smoking, if you do smoke there is a large fine to pay. I did not like the shower head there was no room to take a shower. The shower cap they supplied was of good use. The continental breakfast with donuts, muffins, toast, cereal, orange juice, tea, and coffee. It was very pleasant with the option to eat inside or outside.

| A good bargain. A modest hotel but very clean and well maintained. The continental breakfast with porch seating was very nice. Only drawback is a bit of traffic noise from Route 1. All in all, a pleasant surprise.
