| I was not expecting a place as fresh and new, but at the same time with lots of old world charm. Marrols is tucked into a little back street in the Old City within walking distance of most anywhere you'd want to go in Bratislava. The room was not large, but it was very clean and comfortable. Plus in all my travels I've never seen this... a free mini bar restocked daily! Highly recommended.

| The employees were very pleasant and helpful, the free minibar is a definite plus that I hope catches on elsewhere. Only minus point was the uncomfortable, too soft bed and pillows. Overall, though, very nice.

| my husband went for business and i went to see how it compared to prague. not much to see but the old town area is wonderful. they are busy renovating most of the buildings...but the walking tour was fun. the hotel was great. we love staying in small exclusive hotels. the elevator is slow but with only a few floors the walk down the stairs was fine. there is also an outside terrace located on the 2nd floor. they will serve you coffee there and light snacks, a great place on a sunny afternoon with a good book. the resturant for lunch and dinner was fabulous. we even held a business dinner there. but, the breakfasts....are very, very basic and sparce. but, over all we would go back and stay there again the next time we are in slovakia

| We were very happy at Hotel Marrol's. The staff, if a bit inexperienced, are still very friendly and helpful. No attitude except for the guy who delivers room service... The regular rooms are small and if you've got alot of luggage (as we did, since we were on a long holiday) it is better to go for the suite. We upgraded to the Garden suite and it was beautiful. The computers in each room are really helpful if you've got some work to do or just want to browse the internet in your pajamas. The TV is great with all channels, including HBO and others. My only gripe was the pillows and comforters. You'd think this hotel, with all it's other comforts, would at least invest in down pillow and comforters. The pillows are pretty damn bad - cheap filling and nothing soft or yummy about them. Same with the comforter. Other than that, the location is terrific, the lobby/reception area excellent, and they have a convienent parking garage under the building. If in Bratislava again, I'd definitely stay there (but I would bring my own pillow! or buy one at Tesco)

| This centrally-located hotel in Bratislava comes with everything a techno-geek could want. Yes, there is a PC in every room with free broadband Internet access. And free satelite TV, and even a Bose table radio. How about a chess set on the table in the room. And a free mini-bar (including beer and wine). The breakfast buffet has everything you might expect (and then some).
