| We spent three nights at the Athens Imperial. When we arrived, an extra bed was already made up and waiting for my daughter. The room was huge, especially compared with other European hotels. The bathroom was beautiful, with separate tub and stall shower with a premium "rainfall" shower head. The rooftop pool was smaller than expected, but very nice. Late evening swims with a view of the illuminated Acropolis were especially rewarding. The restaurant and bar are extremely pricey by my standards, but the buffet breakfast was excellent. The hotel is not located right near the Acropolis or other sights, but is an easy Metro ride away. My family would definitely stay there again.
