The desk clerk was unfriendly and hard to understand. I thought I had requested a non-smoking room but none were available when I checked in. At one point the toilet clogged and I was handed a plunger! Parking was limited. However, the location was good (right across the street from NAU), it was fairly clean, and I just needed a bed for those 2 nights.

This is not a high end motel nor did I expect it to be. However there are some mininum standards that I would expect of any motel that were either lacking or just plain missing. These were as follows: Too little counter space in bathroom to place toiletry items, not enought space between the wall and the bed to get in or out of bed (A single room with two beds), no paper or pen in any of the drawers, the refridgerator didn't freeze ice, no alarm clock, and parking was very dificult to manuever for any car.

The hotel was in good condition, everything in our room was in good working order and clean. The biggest issue was the tightness of the parking lot, although we never had a problem finding a space. Wireless internet fast and free, although it didn't work the first night it was fine for the rest of our stay.

We enjoyed our stay, but the room was below the staircase and very noisy. We were staying three nights and I asked for a switch but they were unaccomodating. We have two babies and it was hard to keep them asleep in the morning! Otherwise, good prices for room. Parking was an issue all three nights - not many spaces.

The hotel wasn't bad, it was basic and clean, about what you would expect at a budget motel, but with a much higher price tag. The key card stopped working every day.
