| We booked a "family suite" room for 4 (2 adults and 2 children). However, they said they didn't have one and offered 2 rooms next to each other - not ideal because our children are small so we ended up getting a roll-away and all staying in one room. Night manager said he couldn't do anything more as they were overbooked. Had one dinner at the hotel - service was good but the food wasn't that great. Small portions as well.

| Beautiful area, very nice (but old) hotel. Lovely antique furniture. The hotel is on a hillside and our room looked out over Rome, that was nice, but there's a road just below the hotel with traffic all hours of the day so if you are a light sleeper you may want to ask for a room facing the garden instead. (The house is not very well insulated.) The hotel staff was extremely helpful. We love walking and didn't mind the 2 km walk to Frascati. Frascati is a nice town with nice sites, decent shopping, and several good restaurants, so staying "local" for a day is still a wonderful Italian experience. We will more than likely return both to the hotel and the area.

| The hotel was very nice, great old fashion look. great landscape, beautiful grounds, very quiet. The front desk was not very helpful. They do not promote public transportation, even though they are several miles from the city. Our impression was they promote a particular cab company/driver, because they get a cut of the profit..They need to be more forthcoming with how far the hotel is from Rome City Center, and provide more transportation for their clients

| Frascati and Grottaferrata are beautiful and its only a 1km walk (1/2 mile) to the train station and a 20 min train to downtown Rome. Anyone can do it. The water pressure in the bathroom was incredibly inconsistent and the heat went from very hot to very cold in a matter of seconds. But the staff were very friendly. I would recommend it if they fix those problems.

| This is a beautiful hotel/villa. Set in Italy's most awesome countryside. Hotel nice & staff very friendly. But it is 35-40 miles outside of Rome. Travel was a little much catching the bus & train to get to Rome every day. Good for people who want to relax & not go see the sites in Roma.
